J	Joe R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really recommend not working with this company. Over billed us on a project by almost 50%, with no real explanation as to why. We had many attempts to resolve with them, asking for documentation/reasons for the overage, other than their people just taking long because of inexperience or incompetence. After going back and forth they agreed to forego the overage, and we considered the matter resolved, and although Tony was very abusive towards the end, but we were willing to give them another chance. Then we get communication when we requested services again, that they no longer wanted to work with us. We believe we demonstrated patience and tried to give them a chance, despite their lacking of experience/ability, and in return we received rudeness, and unprofessional responses. Update - we brought in another developer to review what Simply PHP had done since the problems continued even after they stop supporting us....turns out their work is what was causing the issue....at this point we are going to review with this other company corrective action, and will most likely be filing a lawsuit against them for damages. And if requesting from a company to receive documentation on the work that was done, the cause of a 50 percent overbilling, is what you call being rude, then I think you have a much great sense of entitlement than you should. ANY company should earn the trust of the customers, and feel comfortable with explaining logically why they bill what they bill. Customers should also be entitled to expect the work that is done, have a level of completeness that makes it functional. I am also glad Tony put my name on the comment, shows that this is a real review, not a fake one. Anyone wishing to discuss with me directly, I welcome the call.

Over the course of running my company and dealing with independent programmers which I have hired through Indeed and Upworks as well as working with companies that have their own in-house programmers which they hired out, I have seen it all! I found out about SimplyPHP this year by doing a google search because the programmers I had been working with were second rate IMO. They did not honour timelines, were doing shoddy work and did not even understand the basics in programming in CakePHP even though they professed to be experts and knew everything CakePHP. A prime example is that they never kept my programming up to date with the latest Cake PHP releases. These programmers were also never available when I needed them, so I have been stuck with unreliable programmers that when I experienced an emergency I had nowhere to turn, which in turn was stressing me out and was far from an enjoyable experience. I have lost a lot of money and time with these so called professional independent programmers! Since I have hired SimplyPHP, I am happy to report the opposite. SimplyPHP have a comprehensive understanding of the CakePHP language, development protocols and procedures and when you need to discuss your project they are readily available and take the time to understand my needs. Their rates are reasonable, the management and staff are friendly and professional and my projects are finally being done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend SimplyPHP if you are looking for the best programmers around. Keep up the great work guys!

I hired in-house, I hired a fully remote team through UpWork, I even worked with an outsourced development shop. And SimplyPHP was the first team that was able to deliver projects on-time and sometimes even before then. Also, what I loved about the team is that they often gave feedback and let me know when a better and simpler solution was available. This is a team that really can help your vision come to life with very little instructions but also can follow a spec down to the most minute detail. I am very thankful for their team and couldn't recommend them enough.

Excellent communication with our team and constant follow up on our project needs and deadlines. We are now more efficient in our billing process because of their hard work. Vee is an excellent project manager, always attentive and such a nice person in general. Adam, our main developer, is the most knowledgeable software engineer I've worked with. I will definitely work with this company again in the future!
