Simply Flowers Nanaimo

Ordering flowers on line is such a hit and miss thing. In the past some of the loveliest arrangements on a florist’s website were not the product that was delivered. It’s quite embarrassing when you go to visit a sick friend and see the barebones sad arrangement that they think you chose for them! Simply Flowers was the opposite. The lovely looking arrangement pictured on their website could not hold a candle to the amazingly beautiful arrangement that was delivered to my friend the next day. They also called ahead to confirm someone would be home, as she lives in deer country and they didn’t want her arrangement to be some deer’s lunch. One week later and I’m told the arrangement is still in great shape – meaning the flowers were really fresh. I am so grateful for the amazing product and service. I will recommend Simply Flowers and order from them in the future.

Simply flowers is amazing! The staff are attentive and super helpful. They were able to respond to my emails instantly. I am very happy with my last minute order and how fast it was able to be delivered. I will definitely order through them again in the future :)

Margaret was so helpful in creating the perfect floral arrangements for our wedding! She listened to our (sometimes haphazard) thoughts and wishes about flower and colour options and made some excellent suggestions. We are especially happy with the maid of honour's bouquet ring that she turned from our idea into a beautiful reality. Highly recommend!

I’d give a zero star if I could. Being tricked by those good reviews, me and my partner got the worst experience ever. The flowers were okay but definitely not worth the price. The women was very rude, inpatient and charged twice the price as previously agreed on. She was giving us that dirty look the whole time, even though me and my partner are neat, respectful, young individuals. I don’t think there is much too add, let’s just say, this shop is very rude towards racialized groups, and trying to make it seem like we are making up stories. Be cautious if you are one of the racialized people, because you might end up being treated terribly. If you are not, go ahead, you may receive a warm service as described by other customers lol

Rude, impatient, inconsiderate and almost ruined our wedding day. My partner and I came into the shop a week before our wedding and had a discussion about a bouquet, corsage, and boutonniere. The options they gave us were disappointingly limited. But we had been tricked by these positive Google reviews, so decided to trust them anyways. We found a few flowers that would be nice in the bouquet, corsage, and bout and settled on them, to be picked up the night before the wedding. The whole time we found ourselves rushed by the impatient woman working there. But since we were in need of these in fairly short order and we had heard good things, we went with it. The price we were quoted was quite extreme as well compared to other arrangement I've gotten, but if it was going to be a nice arrangement, we would not have cared. We agreed to come back in the day before the wedding to have a look at the arrangements and make any adjustments before they were completed. When we went back in, the arrangements they showed us looked NOTHING like we had agreed on. The flowers we had asked to be in there were not present, and the bouquet was tiny and boring. Inside we were panicking, so desperately asked if there was anything more that could be added. Without any more discussion she added the flowers and tied them up again. Still even after the addition, it looked terrible. She went on to try to charge us 50% more than what was quoted, plus had the audacity to charge extra for labour. When we questioned this price she said "I'm this close to telling you to leave and you can buy your flowers from Thrifty's". I have never been treated this way by a store owner in all my life, and the attitude she gave my partner was honestly revolting. The whole thing was too much, I couldn't in good conscience accept being treated like this, so we left. Well guess what... We didn't go to Thrifty's, but we did go to Costco to get some flowers and do it ourselves. I recommend everyone else do the same. A quarter of the price and about 30 minutes of your time and you can be a better florist than Simply Flowers :)

Simply Flowers is a wonderful little gem of a florist located in Country Club Mall in Central Nanaimo. This family owned business is truly top notch and you will get nothing but the best service from Margaret and Bill! Ordered a Mothers Day Bouquet for my Lovely wife Rebecca, and it was flawless and stunning. Every piece was carefully selected. This was my second time using them and the pictures really do speak for themselves. Grocery store flowers do not compare!

We've been sending my Grandma bouquets from Simply Flowers over the past year as a way to stay connected during covid. They've done an amazing job everytime, with gorgeous Holiday and Birthday bouquets. Thank you!

Super friendly and accommodating. I called to create a bouquet for my friend who just had a baby. Just had a few flowers I knew I wanted included and a price point. The kind lady made some other flower suggestions to include as well which I agreed to and with their expertise they built a bouquet that my friend absolutely loves!
