N	No BS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ And the most discusting bathroom award goes to Simon King Donair! The stench coming from the urinal is so overpowering I lost my appetite! You serve food for chriat sakes! If this is how you clean your bathrooms then I would hate to see the kitchen!
S	Spencer Depeel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit Several months after my original negative review I have dropped by and found that the original staff that was the reason for my low review have been replaced. The current staff is extremely friendly and actually give you what you ordered. The meat etc. Taste just as good as when I first tried the donairs here. Now that they have a good staff the portions have been corrected. The donair meat is on the top of the list of best meats that I have tried in edmonton. Now I do recommend dropping in for a visit and a taste of the donair. The picture below is of what the donair was months ago. Now the portioning is much better and worth it.
D	Donovan Jang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious. The sweet sauce is on the thicker side, and the donair beef is spiced very generously. In other words, Simon King's donairs are made just the way I like them. Another note is that the donairs are actually served quite hot, as opposed to the warm/lukewarm types you get from several other places. The meat is shaved then allowed to sit on the grill for some time before it's wrapped up, giving the meat that nice slight crispiness. If I had to nitpick, the naming scheme for the sizes of the Donairs are a little misleading. The "Super Donair" is a lot closer to being a small that you'd get elsewhere. The portioning of the meat also isn't overly generous like at standout places such as Swiss Donair. All in all, Simon King is a great spot. It's a little out of my way, but I'd definitely go again if nearby.

Overcooked, disappointed. Everything else in the Donair was fresh, but the meat was not good. No longer live in south side, and don't see myself coming back when there are better donairs out there.

The could of just said we don't do anything half hour before closing time. Luckly it was my first time ordering from this place and luckly I have choices for donair shops. I don't recommend ordering the jumbo here go somewhere else if your looking to have an oversized donair. Go try cosmic donair they ain't cheap with the donair. Order a reg you get a reg you get a Large you get a jumbo.
J	J D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alright I’ll give you a fair honest review here. I first tried Simon king last summer of 2021 and I had zero complaints. Donair was fantastic. Felt like I got the best bang for my buck. over sized regular donair piping hot and it tasted great. Veggies fresh check. fries perfectly seasoned check. All for a base price of $14 sure I’ll pay that all day. I work 2 min away from this establishment keep in mind. I read reviews before handing over my cash and it was 50/50 so screw it I’ll try it myself… Today however…. I walked through the front door and got hit with a strong fishy odour? Took me back for a second, Thinking I’m at the sea food section at a local superstore? I decided to continue my voyage to the front counter. I ordered the same thing. Regular Cheese donair combo, no complaints guy was nice. Food was prepared quickly, customer service was good. Drove 2 min down the road to my shop. Donair was already cold. Donair lacked the same “ bang for the buck” portion. Veggies were fresh but the pita tasted stale and the meat (to me) tasted under done. The fries weren’t cooked through. Half the sleeve was raw starchy tasting in the centre/soggy. Sorry guys but this ain’t it.
