Staff were fantastic, helpful and mindful of our limited budget; the fabric we sourced (from another fabric store in a sale) they advised us with how many meters to buy. We are so happy with results! The craftsmanship is beautiful and era correct. We know we will enjoy our sofa for years to come. Such a better way to give new life to a classic piece of furniture than buying new AND supporting a local business. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again!

Jim and Nattalia are geat team. They delivered all the way to Chestermere for free. Can't thank enough for everything. Used the same fabric again and fix it was a big challenge but they did an excellent job. Thank you Jim.

Jim came out to see what we needed and gave us a ballpark quote depending on what material we found for my parent's chair. We followed up by going to Simmering's place of business to finalize our choices and were given our quote. Jim came back out to pick up both chairs and gave us an ETA. Both the quote and the ETA were accurate and as you can see, the chairs turned out fabulous! Thank you to Jim and his team! We highly recommend Simmering to anyone looking to have upholstery done.

We chose the material , they collected the furniture from her Seniors home and within a relatively short time delivered the newly upholstered chair and love seat back to her home . Kim and her team welcomed us into the store, quickly assessed the materials that might work for us (they have an amazing assortment to choose from) and gave us a quote on the price. Two weeks later we came home with our cushions. The fabric looks fabulous in our living room, they fit beautifully and feel oh so comfortable. We highly recommend Kim and the team for a truly professional job.

After searching on Amazon it seemed so ridiculous to me to be ordering 100 or 1000 tacks when I only needed just 13… I called Simmering and they not only had what I needed but simply gave them to me to complete my project. I think this was such a beautiful act of service they did today. It’s my deceased mother birthday and this art project is kinda like a tribute, so their act of kindness was above and beyond… So much gratitude to them for their amazing customer service! I wanted to recover a couple of very old IKEA recliners. Despite shopping around for brand new, I couldn't find anything even close to what I already owned, and did not want to buy anything in leather. I was fortunate enough to have purchased some upholstery fabric from IKEA years ago -- but it was not quite enough to do both chairs. After looking at a lot of fabric samples, I asked if Simmering could take fabric from a loveseat cover for a portion of the chair. The results are below. It was a long process from initially inquiring could the recliners be recovered, to receiving the finished chairs -- but the wait was worth it. The chairs look brand new, are comfortable to sit in (new foam seat) and look nothing like the original chairs. Not pictured are the extra arm caps and head rests Simmering made with extra fabric. Simmering did a great job, and I wouldn't hesitate to get something recovered with them again.
