★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fractured both ankles and been pretty much ignored by most doctors and nurses day and night despite being in constant pain. They didn’t even assess my neck or head which I also hurt into fall despite me telling them I have constant migraines. Also, I have coverage for a private room but they insisted on putting me with extremely loud and needy patients so insulin pumps would be left beeping day/night for up to half an hour or more. It’s been so noisy I can’t sleep or get proper rest. Even when a nurse is tending to me for a few seconds they other person in my room starts barking out demands to them so my time with them is rushed. Today the doctor who was not the doctor I was assigned said I was being discharged yet I have no OT or PT plan, I was only taught to transfer from bed to chair and back. No pain management or any other discharge plan. I plan to speak with the Patient Ombudsperson.
