and painless procedure. I was worried about scarring but it healed beautifully, with no signs of a scar, the skin is smooth and you would never know I had surgery...should have asked her for a bio and tuck while there lol

Was referred here for a couple moles that grew. The dermatologist rushed the appointment, barley looked at the moles and scheduled me for mole removal surgery saying the only way to know for sure was with a biopsy. She said it would be covered by OHIP.
Arrived for the surgery appointment on time but was made to wait an hour to see the surgeon. The surgeon barley examined the moles and said it would not be covered by OHIP. He said they were not cancerous. Which is great news but how can that be definitive without a biopsy ?Either way would have been better to know beforehand so I didn't have take time off work for a surgery that I didn't even end up getting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There has been a huge improvement in terms of wait time since last year. I’ve had 2 appointments in the past week and there has been just a very short wait time compared to a year ago. The Dr. and nurse have been very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Staff and Doctor at SimcoDerm were very professional and empathetic to my situation. So much care was shown to me and all aspects of my dermatological condition was explained in an easy to understand way. Everyone was positive and friendly. I would recommend this medical centre to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have never had any issues whatsoever with any of the doctors, nurses or other staff. SimcoeDerm is an exceptionally busy office as it services a vast area. Hence, you may have to wait a bit for your appointment, however, where does one not have to wait when requiring any type of medical service? I am a firm believer that your expectation should be that you’re going to have to wait. We are fortunate enough to live in a country whereby, our healthcare is still free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great experience, the staff was very friendly, and efficient. Dr Mahmoodi performed my skin check up and was so kind, and explained things. She didn't make me feel rushed or uncertain, she took the time to answer my questions and comfort any worries. The nurse who did my biopsy was excellent - totally made me feel at ease. She was training a new member of their team, so it was great to hear them explain everything happening.
