★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went out for a small birthday celebration to the Fox a couple weeks ago and it was my first time in the bar in probably 3 or 4 years despite living in Sparwood. Wow what a change in the food, so many options and everything we had was good to great. As surprised as I am to say this but definitely try the seafood, was so unexpectedly delicious and can't wait to get so more.

and I am so happy I did. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. I am in town for work from Calgary and have paid double for something half as good. There was a literal chunk of claw, and the flavour was amazing. I had a ceaser (drink) which was also great. There was one person serving, running food, and bartending... and he was hustling to give good service! (It’s hard to staff a place like this). The chef also did a quality check and brought me a side of garlic toast when I asked ... I needed to soak up all that delicious sauce. Overall a great experience, I want to go back and try more food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food but the waitress is a horrible person who will lecture you on your life.... the chef is awesome so I recommend there food but ill never go there again. Wanted to have a couple beers and some dinner but due to being lectured the whole time I had 1 beer and ate my food and left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to go for great pub food! Keno, pool table, and yummy burgers, fries, wings and so much to choose from on the menu. If you're passing through or live here I recommend you try it out. For anyone with a gluten allergy or Celiac here is your place! You will have about 80% of items to choose that the chef will cook for you safely. We are very excited to have found this place!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place! The specials were fantastic, we had the Brie burger and chicken brie gnocchi and we both loved them. The staff was great, super attentive and you can tell the chef is passionate about his food. We were surprised when we pulled up as it has been renovated recently and looks much better than the pictures on google. We would definitely come here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for a night on the patio and had wings and deep fried mushrooms. Dill pickle, salt and pepper, and hot ranch were the flavors we chose and without batter. OH My gosh were they good. They were so light and crispy. Apparently the cook hand batters the pickles, mushrooms and fish. We wil return for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Silverfox is a must try for those who are often disappointed when dining out. Dave is passionate about what he puts on a plate and makes the extra effort to ensure customer satisfaction, we appreciate his table-side visits. Huge bonus is that the vast majority of what’s on the menu is gluten free- my wife (who is Celiac) has had the luxury of making selections that she has been denied for several years when dining out. Dave, if you happen to read this, she appreciates you giving her onion rings again, now she’s got a craving for ginger beef ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best deep fried mushrooms ever!! They are home made with an amazing batter. Wonderful "small town service" as well. Super friendly staff and all the food was great. Will go back for the mushrooms again and again!
