c	chris patey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We needed a place desperately, as we were travelling through, and it was high season. Every place we stopped and called was booked solid, being the high season. When I called the office and told them about our situation, they said they keep a few spaces open for just such situations. We were so thankful. The owners were fantastic. The campground itself had full hookups at every site. There is a pool and washrooms, but we're closed due to covid restrictions. Although Swan lake is not swimmable, it was the perfect place to sit, under the weeping willow trees, feeling the cool breeze off the lake, in the 36° summer heat. Even though the place was full, you didn't hear your neighbours. If you're visiting Nelson, give this place a try. It's close to town (literally 2 minutes), has full hookups, and offers some peace. The only downside is the lack of space between sites. It's basically a flat, gravel parking lot. There are some sites that offer some barriers/greenery between them, but those are reserved for the bigger units.
T	Trevor D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were here from July 4th 2021 until July 7th 2021. We got a beautiful site assigned to us (I think site 56) but all the same , it was like having a large back yard. The sites were well maintained and the owners Helen and Roger are a pleasant couple to chat with and were very nice. We will definitely be back. The other sites off the water are also larger and nice too but we enjoyed the view with water. If camping during summer then the water sites are nice but a little windy. If camping during fall and winter then the sites away from the water are good options. Thanks Roger and Helen.
M	M/L Cull on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were evacuated from our home due to the White Rock Lake wildfire for over a month and were made to feel more than welcome for that time at Silver Star RV Park. The whole family were around often ensuring our comfort and the park was very well maintained. We were anxious to get back to our home when the order was lifted but sad to leave. Wishing all the best and will highly recommend to anyone anytime!! Thank you ???

C	Cynthia Chan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful RV park with spots right on Swan Lake. Owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Great location close to downtown, including Walmart, Canadian Tire, Superstore, lots of restaurants and anything else you could need. Highly recommend staying here!
A	Arlene Niemi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OH DEAR _ THIS IS A WRONG POST FOR THIS PARK. I POSTED IT IN ERROR. IT WAS FOR A DIFFERENT PARK. SORRY We stayed here when we had a much younger RV. Since then we have sold and bought another one. We tried to book last season and I was told that my beautiful 1994 Motorhome could not be accommodated because they won't take anything older than 15 years. So sad because my unit is adorable.

Trees had just been trimmed and our site was raked in anticipation for our arrival. Pool & washrooms were closed due to COVID, which is understandable. We will definitely be back!
