★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The area the rest stop is located in is beautiful, a really scenic road/trail loop around a small patch of woods that offers a great spot to stop and stretch or sit for a picnic, with great views along the lake. Its become my go to stop to hydrate and stretch if Im riding along number 7 in the Kaladar-Perth stretch. Only complaint is the washrooms smell absolutely horrible, so if a washroom stop is what you need, avoid here... otherwise definitely worth pulling in to take in the scenery before heading out again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please stop here and take in the gorgeous view. Great place to walk the dog on the long trip between the GTA and Ottawa. There are bathrooms onsite if you have to use them.

They have washroom and water facility
Good for 20-30 min break .
Try to come on sunset or sunrise time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous spot for a quick stop on a drive between Ottawa and Peterborough. We've stopped here for fishing, canoeing and just exploring. All have been great experiences.
