Through a number of internal and external conflicts, the Boer War, 2 world wars, the Great Depression, and the Korean war,
millions of Canadians sung this rousing theme becoming official in the year of Confederation, 1867, and proudly sung until 1957, when we changed the anthem. (90 years) .
The anthem we now have (originally written in French and translated) has been our hymn for 64 years.!!

β β β β β My youth and I walked into the store upselling a business my youth (of colour) works for, that is around the corner from the store. The older gentleman was very kind and heard what my youth had to say and was very kind to the both of us. It's a hidden gem. Very interesting place. Will be going back!!

β β β β β This store is a beautiful little gem hidden in Calgary with a beautiful collection of items all priced very fairly. The owner believes in pricing his items at a reasonable price so that collectors and those looking to get into the hobby can always find the best price and know they got a fair deal. The owner is a very kind and incredible person with some of the best stories! I went in thinking it would be a quick 5 minute visit and we ended up talking for close to an hour. I cannot say enough good things about this store or the Owner!

β β β β β It makes me sad to see all the negative reviews full of lies and slander for this store. This is by far one of my favorite stores in Calgary. All authentic vintage. As a vintage military collector myself, I love to come into this store. The owner is very kind and a pleasure to talk to. My girlfriend and I are frequent visitors of the store and we always have an amazing experience. In a world that is falling apart more and more every day, this store is like a portal into a time when the world was still something to be proud of. As long as you have more than 2 brain cells, and a good appreciation for history, this store is a must visit.

However there's signs around the store saying "just looking doesn't pay the bills" and "no pictures" unless you're paying $10 to take a picture with a helmet. It doesn't come off as very friendly, would probably have spent more if I didn't feel like he wanted me out of his store ASAP.

β β β β β I absolutely love this store and will continue to support it. Despite what others think about the store owner being "rude" or "disrespectful", I had a fantastic experience today and always have so I don't understand all the negative reviews. Although I hadn't purchased anything this visit simply because of a lack of time, the owner showed me picture after picture and explained each and every one of them as well as their history so I may not have left the store with anything physical but I sure did leave with a lot of memorable knowledge. He seemed very happy to show me anything I wanted to take a look at and for that I feel more than satisfied. I think that it's important that this kind of stuff is for sale, simply to keep history alive and if you disagree with the owner, why waste your time and complain? Move on and quit being so full of yourself. Anyways, I most certainly will come back and continue to support this business. Cheers!

β β β β β What a great store! So many different antiques, collectables and medals to choose from! From original Gi joe's, metal cap guns, tin signs, world war 1 memorabilia to Military gear. There is so much crammed into this store, you will surely miss something. fun place to check out. i believe they even do Fed ex as well. The owner was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly to me and my family. Everyone who was working that day was very polite. Not sure why so many "complaints". weird. Don't be shy to go in, there are plenty of gems to find. We found quite a few items. Wont hesitate to go back. thanks again for a great experience!
