Today only one individual was on cash (due to the lottery, there was a huge line up that barely moved and only kept getting longer). Since it was obvious that another cashier would not be called, I opted for the Self-Checkout option. I scanned my four items and used my card which apparently required a signature (the transaction was approved so I had paid and ready to leave) when a screen came up that required Authorization before it would print my receipt. I attempted to get the attention of the single cashier but due to the amount of people it was quite impossible. No one was nofitoed of the authorization required and I stood there for over 20 minutes waiting for assistance. Finally when the cashier made the call for assistance on my end, someone came out and walked all the way to the Self-Checkout only to realize that she forgot the card to authorize my purchase. So she slowly made her way back to the back of the store to retrieve it. At this point I had customers coming up to me saying I should call a manager because they watched how terrible this all was. When she finally returned, she swiped the card and I just had to sign the receipt. I told her at that point that I had been waiting for an extended period of time and she just shrugged and walked away. I hope management sees this and is more considerate to its customers, because had I not already paid for those items, I would have just left.
P	Patrick Breault on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service I have ever received from a pharmacy in my life. Do not expect they go the extra mile. The pharmacists are terrible and do not understand anything, you speak with them and it is like talking to a wall. They argue and speak over you like they are better then you, about your prescription instead of just calling your Dr. ( perhaps she made a mistake writing it after my phone conversation) hmm can happen. I even told them that my Dr is on 24/7 for me as I'm considered an emergency case at all times until future surgeries. They told me they don't care, perhaps I should bring my business elsewhere.... is this really what Shoppers Drug Mart wants me to do??? How many others have silently left and gone to another drug store. From research I'm one of very few that give the time to voice my concerns and give the chance to rectify before moving on. After this event I'm most likely never using a shoppers again. Also just because a person can afford to purchase the franchise doesn't mean they have the best interest of the franchise.

This happened to a friend of mine at this very same store and I made a complaint about it already to the Front Store Manager, clearly no efforts have been made with this staff. Thanks for having the merchandiser follow me around the store Cosmetics Manager and making me feel uncomfortable on a day when I just wanted to be left alone. Do better.
G	Golden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are driving into town in an attempt to receive your covid shot, and the pharmacy says that you can come anytime, this is not true. They ran out of their vile and did not want to open a new vile for me to get my shot since it was later on in the day. So, before you make the hour drive, it may be best for you to insist that they set your shot aside for you, so you don't waste a trip.
k	king steveno on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, worst pharmacy in the city. Always waiting, call in for refills but doesn't get done. Claim to fax the doctor then don't. Majority of them are rude. No way to find out if prescriptions are ready. Used to be good until approx 4 years ago. Frustration every time.

She said it was the French version of perfume, which isn’t the case. I was trying to find a face cream without parfum and she said there were no products without. Clinic has no parfum but this isn’t carried at this location. Employees should have to research “parfum” to get a better understanding of people with Multiple Chemical S Syndrome. She told me to go to another Shoppers Drug Mart then
R	Ryan Sawyer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time they have a deal advertised, they don’t have any stock on said discounted item. Always plenty of regular priced alternatives though. I emailed the branch about this. I’ve followed up 2 more times, still no response. They have been good in the past about rain checks, but are at this point completely ignoring my emails. It’s a real slap in the face for a long time decent spending customer. Because they did the rain checks in the past, it made me overlook their rude staff, but after 3 attempts of contact with zero response, it shows just how little their customers mean to them. I’m definitely not shopping here anymore. I’ll use Rex-all or guardian drugs sooner. Even though it’s further for me to go. Way better service! No bait and switches either.
