★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience every time I come here. I came in to get my medications filled after using the call in service and was told it would be done 3 days after i called. When i came in it wasnt ready and I was told it would be 10 minutes, so I waited and after an hour I went up to check what was going on and the man told me "you should be checking to see if I am doing my job." Then I continued to wait after being told it would only take a few minutes, only to be waiting for another half an hour. Another time i went in to get my refill to see that they had changed my medication without telling me. Every time i am in there they mess it up or I am waiting for a very long time, I took my business to another store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was told to sign a Recurring Credit Card Authorization Form for some medical product I intend to purchase. I am not comfortable with signing a recurring payment agreement, instead, I authorized an one time credit card payment in writing. I was told, "unfortunately" my written authorization letter does not meet "Shoppers National requirement for fraud prevention" . After weeks of communication to place this medical order, they cancelled it without even notify me. How ridiculous this is. Luckily there is a smaller vendor able to fill in and provide a delivery within timely manner. Otherwise I would stuck with them and being forced to sign something I am not willing to. Sign before you read. I just do not understand why they did what they do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regular customer here. I have a legitimate health reason to not wear a mask, but was still refused service by a rude young man insisting I will not be helped until I wore one. So be warned: having a medical condition means nothing here and you will be forced to go against your doctors advice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Paul's store about 18 years now, I can not remember having poor service at Shoppers even before when Paul's father Joe owned the store. I was a client of another pharmacy and was waiting for the pharmacist to get off the phone patently ,when he hung the phone up he turned to me and said " What the F### do you want ?" I replied Just wanted to transfer my scripts and my wife's across to Shoppers . And never been to another drug store since. "GREAT SERVICE ,POLITE SERVICE, VERY CARING PERSONNEL THAT WILL GO THAT EXTRA MILE FOR THE CUSTOMER!" Thanks Paul for the GREAT service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had a family member that was a regular to get their prescription filled at the pharmacy. Turns out that they have been incorrectly filling their prescription more than once. Even after it was brought to their attention they would still constantly screw up the medication and forget important medications. This pharmacy is a total disaster. How is it possible to give the wrong medication to the wrong person multiple times. Incompetent is an understatement. Figure it out before you kill someone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I reviewed Shoppers Drugmart, Down Towne Olds 5 yrs ago & gave them 5 stars. They have continued to maintain those 5 stars and more ! Staff & pharmacists have consistently gone out of their way to help me, have always provided me vital in-depth knowledge & insight regarding my medications. The store is super clean, the atmosphere bright & cheery, and easily accessible to those in wheelchairs. Even when staff & pharmacists are at their busiest serving customers they still take the time to address any concerns that I may have. I know they genuinely care, are reliable, trustworthy and are caring friends. They are just that wonderful !!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the pleasure of visiting this pharmacy today May 23. I walked in 10 minutes before closing to try and get a prescription filled for my bummed shoulder. Paul the amazing pharmacist I as great, not only was he able to fill my medication for me, but he took the time to explain everything to me in detail! Something a lot of laces don’t do especially stupid close to closing my on a long weekend! So Paul thank you so much!
