My experience at this Shoppers pharmacy has been consistently top-notch. I have witnessed the staff here deal with some very challenging customers and still keep their cool. I have to get a lot of medications and when I have had issues with insurance providers and doctors they have gone the extra mile to help me. Particularly Kavita and, I think it's Jamie, have been awesome (the guy whose university pharmacy class I spoke to once ).

Do not purchase batteries at Shoppers in case they are dead like the one I purchased for a Tile at this location. They are "electronics" so a Shoppers staff person will "rudely" tell you to deal with the manufacturer, even though the battery was purchased just hours before at this location. I did not give up until I was refunded the purchase, but the staff person made sure everyone around heard her question my integrity! Moved over to nearby Rexall and using up my 475,000+ points asap.

This pharmacy used to provide decent service, however since the ownership has changed the service is very poor. Faxes to doctors never seem to go through and the blame is placed on the doctor’s fax rather than their incompetence. On more than one occasion the phone rings and rings with no one answering it and you have to wait sometimes till the next day to reach the pharmacy. If I could give zero stars I would that is how poor this Shoppers has become. Thankfully I have moved and will no longer have to endure their shoddy service. What remains to be seen is if they transfer my prescriptions correctly. It’s a wait and see now. I suggest you find a different pharmacy to have your prescriptions filled. That will save you a great deal of frustration and time.

I'm not usually one to go out of my way to leave a review but I don't even understand how this place is still around. All I ever want to do here is pick up a package that my no choice of my own is left there by Canada Post and even just this one little task is nearly impossible. Most of the time nobody ever picks up the phone to let me know if a package has arrived, sometimes I show up and there's no worker there and a little paper note saying sorry. I'm Amazed this is part of such a large franchise sometimes because it seems like it's running like a back yard garage sale.

Since the pharmacy changed owners I have had the worst experiences. Impossible to get ahold of, not having prescriptions ready for pick up time, not β€œgetting” Doctors faxes (which was never an issue prior) providing the wrong customer’s prescription to me, and filling prescriptions on file without being directed to, and then getting upset when I don’t come and pick them up/ pay for them. However my experience today (2022-01-05) has been the worst by far. I have a medication that due to regulations can only be filled 1 month per time, and can not be ordered early. When I called yesterday they advised that they only have enough to fill half my prescription for pick up (today) and I can pick up the rest either Friday or Monday. When I arrived today I was advised that they didn’t fill my half prescription because they received their order today and haven’t unboxed it. I tried to let the person serving me know what arrangements where made yesterday, and he dismissed me saying well the order is here now so I have to wait for them to unpack. So instead of filling half my prescription like they promised I get to make arrangements to come back β€œmaybe in a couple of hours” or β€œtomorrow” to get the full prescription. Unfortunately a couple of hours later tonight or tomorrow doesn’t work for me, and I won’t be able to get to pick up my prescription until Friday evening like previously arrange with them. So now I get to go without my meds for 2 days. I get that it’s a pandemic and their are delays, however as this medication has strict regulations around it, they should be trying to work with customers on a compromise instead of dismissing them without medication for something that isn’t the customers fault.

Literally stole my mom's money by double charging her. Worst customer service. They won't even give her money back or the items they double charged her for. Their preferred solution to the problem was to ignore my mom. Absolutely ridiculous. If you don't want your money stolen by the company's staff, don't come to this shoppers. They have the most unprofessional, under- skilled and uneducated employees, especially the managers. Head corporate management must do a thorough evaluation of this store as they are extremely poorly staffed with atrocious customer service. Extremely disappointed.

I'm never one to go out of my way to complain, but they have sent a prescription refill request to my doctor twice with the wrong doctor name on there who I never have even heard of, and even told them I've never heard of this doctor and spoke with them Confirmed my doctor and then made the same mistake. So far I've spent about 2 hours making phone calls between both doctors office and the pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy is getting my medication which I need and am out. We'll see what tomorrow brings hopefully after going in person and phoning them 5 times they got it right. Last time I will ever use this pharmacy. I've also paid reduced price for my medication elsewhere then suddenly it costs 7Γ— as much this place blows.

I had been using this Shoppers for 6 years and have had a consistently poor level of customer service throughout that period of time. No one picks up the phone in the pharmacy, there is a lack of urgency to attend to waiting customers by pharmacy staff, and prescriptions regularly not filled by designated time of pickup. I see that many people have left similar reviews that have been replied to, but nothing being done to correct the addressed issues. I got so frustrated with the lack of customer service that I have taken my business elsewhere. On a positive note, I’ve never had issues with the front staff, and James from the pharmacy has always been prompt and helpful whenever he assisted me (he should get a raise).
