★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never used the pharmacy, but I love shopping the aisles. They have great deals often, the PC points works well, the bonuses are always available. The cashiers have always been available and more than helpful. Aisle clerks always helped me too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I go there quite often.. I've had minor issues with the pharmacy but always got resolved. But I went into the pharmacy tonight and there is a sign at the entrance in and out saying masks are mandatory. I put my mask on then went in. Was greated by the beauty counter and 2 other employees at the counter. 1 was wearing her mask on her chin, the other 2 weren't wearing 1at all. Went and picked up what I needed and there was another 6 employees all standing and laughing while working. Not 1 was wearing a mask. The nice English lady at the check out was the only one wearing it properly. They also have the lines and signs about social distance but the same employees don't follow them. If we are expected to follow the guide lines what makes them so special. I am so looking forward to when things are back to normal and I can change pharmacy. They are a joke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve never had a problem here. Pharmacy is always super nice and quick. As far as retail goes, they always have what I need. Hours are very convenient as well. Major props to them for staying open and keeping a good attitude with everything going on right now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was helped by Diane and Justin (pharmacist) this evening when I realized last minute that my son was running very low on several of his medications. They were helpful and fast to refill all the medications we needed short notice too! It was 10 minutes before closing which I know likely was annoying for them but they were still very helpful regardless and didn’t make me feel bad for the urgent last minute request. I was very thankful for their help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription which I have been picking up from a different shoppers for a year now, there was some confusion with my insurance (and low and behold we answered our own question which would of taken fellow employees 2 seconds to look up) my father proceeded to get agitated as they were not answering his question; they threatened to not give ME my medication due to my fathers behaviour they could of asked him to leave and ask to deal with me only but nope they would rather threaten to not give me my medication for my mental health night I add, when I tried to speak up I was told by the staff to shut up, I am a 20 year old woman and refused to be spoken to that way, 1 day you will do this the wrong person and I can tell you that with confidence as a fellow front line worker who works with folks with debilitating mental health issues and 1 day they will need to pick up their prescription from you and you will be the reason they give up because once again you treated yet another person with a mental illness like a problem not a person. Do better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let me preface by saying that I've only ever left one positive review (never any bad ones) on a business before. I was very impressed with the service I received today. This evening, I went to the Embrun Shoppers Drug Mart location to make an exchange. The gentleman at the cash, Luke, was extremelly professional and polite. Even though the computer froze, he was apologetic and genuinely interested in our conversation while still trying to acomodate me. I figured its always nice to receive a compliment and know that your efforts are recognized and appreciated. Thank-you Luke for the great service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 9 times out of 10 they don’t have the product I go in for. Calling them is pointless because they never answer, the tiny blonde girl with glasses has the personality of a cardboard box and trying to be friendly/make small talk with her is like talking to a wall that grunts. The only good thing about this place is the friendly ladies who work the makeup/perfume section who greet you when you walk in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give their pharmacy 0 stars I would. I renewed my cancer medication a week before treatment and they tried blaming me, telling me it had not been renewed, then said they couldn't get it in for at least another week. I went to the downtown Russell IDA and they had the medication within 24 hours.
As I waited for my prescription, every single person was having issues with the staff. Some being told their prescription was never faxed over, others being told it wouldn't be ready until days from now, etc. A father with a child who had a cough was asking for advice from the pharmacist and was told to hydrate him and give him honey. No other recommendations were given. Disgraceful.
I have had an issue every single time I have attended this pharmacy.
100 run don't walk AWAY from this horribly organised pharmacy.
