S	Shonnah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is pretty good, been here multiple times with family and have never been disappointed. Currently, they have good COVID measures in place and everything seems sanitary. I will mention plate sizes are quite large, so it’s not ideal for 2 people to eat here unless if you want lots of leftovers. The price is quite reasonable, depending on what you order and quality of food is good and consistent. The owner and staff supply great service and I’d recommend any group looking for a nice Chinese dinner to come here! Their fresh fish and oysters were especially delicious!

We generally order the same dishes, so we have a benchmark for comparison, and the food from the last 2 times were not as good as last year. The different staff present and payment method changes, as well as how busy the restaurant gets are good indicators. Shoom used to be awesome and satisfying every time, now the food has become alright at best.

Food is good and portion size is generous. I liked how the Peking duck had the right amount of crepes for the serving. The complimentary mango dessert at the end was a nice finishing touch.

A decent Chinese restaurant in the heart of an area known as “Little India”. This restaurant has actually expanded over the years with a main seating area, along with additional rooms that are accessed from behind the counter area (back of restaurant and left). This place is known for their portion sizes, truffle chicken, variations of salted egg yolk with some type of shellfish and rice cake, and their cute mini mango desserts to end the night. Food is slightly above average from the standard Chinese restaurant given the vast amount of variations and varieties available. Nothing seemingly bland or over salted. Great place to have large party dinners (think Chinese banquet style 10 person tables). Servers can seem “pushy” but that’s how it’s done Asian style (so not really bothered). Always know what I’m getting when I come here, no disappointments. Recommend !
