DO NOT EVER USE SHIP MY RIDE. I've had a terrible experience with this company. Our car was damaged moving from BC to SK and we put in a claim one month ago. Nancy was the boss of the claims department and I was told to wait 1 or 2 days and she will contact me regarding the claim. She never answered my call for almost a month and wouldn't call me back when she said she would call me back every time I tried messaging her. After calling her today about the damage, she said she couldn't cover it because apparently there was already a damage on our car before. That made 0 sense because it was perfectly fine before shipping it to SK. 1. The damage coming from Shipmyride wasn't covered even though it was their fault. 2. They never answer calls or emails. It's ridiculously hard to get in touch with them. From my personal experience, I suggest everyone here not to use Shipmyride in the future. The service was absolutely TERRIBLE.

So far I've been very very unhappy with the customer service that I have received, supposed to be getting a car transferred from Vancouver to Regina and the expected date was the 19th of June, car was delayed okay whatever, told me the car would be delivered either that Monday/Tuesday. Still not here, waited till Saturday the next week and it's still not here, my car is now over a week delayed, I contacted the company and I won't even get a response on where my car is! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

All the negative reviews are true ! We had to go and fetch our car from the depot in Bolton after waiting 3 weeks for it to arrive. We were told it was loaded on a trailer waiting to be transported to us in 6 more days but it had been at the depot for at least 2 weeks already. No one explained WHY. Customer service is non-existent and when that happens you get to a point where you lose any remaining trust. My assets will never be moved by this awful outfit again.

Very impressed with the service. On a recommendation from a friend I contacted ShipMyRide to have a vehicle shipped from Toronto to Tssutina-Calgary late January 2021. I was kept in formed of the shipment progress of my Ride during the whole process, from expected pick up time, to pick up and then to final destination delivery. Very happy with their service and would not hesitate using their service again or recommending it to anyone. Very reasonable cost and competitive. SJC

"Zero star rating"...(Read the most recent reviews!)...This Company should not be in Business! I believed Nancy when I was calling around for quotes early in 2021, she convinced me that ShipMyRide was experienced in transporting Vehicles across Canada. I did receive many Text Messages/E-Mails from Nancy up to and including the day my Credit Card Information and Vehicle was handed over. It took just short of 4 Months to transport my Vehicle from Calgary, Alberta to St. John's, Newfoundland (110 days to be precise). The "updates" from Tyron in Shipping became non-existent! After no replies to multiple E-Mails, Phone Calls, WhatsApp, Facebook and Text Messages and expecting the worst, I had no other choice than to contact the Calgary Police and the Better Business Bureau. Low and behold me, shortly afterwards my Vehicle was delivered on September 01st, 2021. (Was handed over on May 14th, 2021). Shocking Service and zero respect for their Customers. Honestly, stay away from this Company!!

As with other review, If I could give a 0 star I would. Poor Quality, Poor Value, Unprofessional, Not on Time. I was recommended this company to transport my vehicle from Toronto to Calgary and booked with them based on that recommendation without reading reviews. Nancy was very good and responsive during the quote/booking process until payment was made and the vehicle was dropped off at the departure terminal on Sept 16th. to depart Toronto between the 23rd and 26th. The last contact I had with them was a few days after drop off where they said that the vehicle would be departing Toronto on the 27th and would be delivered to the dealership in Calgary by the end of the week. I received no communication from that point and expected there were no issues. Starting the 29th I tried to contact them to confirm delivery I tried the 4 email addresses I had, every extension of their main office phone number and Nancy's cellphone with no response. On Tuesday Oct 5th with still no response I enabled a GPS tracker in the car and found it moving around in Edmonton. Again could still not establish contact leaving text messages, voice mails and emails. On Wednesday Oct 6th I watched the car moving all over Calgary (past the drop off location several times) I again was unable to establish contact with them, but emailed and texted that if the vehicle was not delivered of my messaged responded to by end of day I would be calling the police. Thursday October 7th the vehicle appeared to be stationary in a yard outside Calgary, due to not receiving any communication from Ship My Ride I have called the police who have found the car sitting dirty in the back of an open and unsecured yard. I am now left with a tow bill to have the vehicle removed from the yard as well as potentially the cost of replacing the vehicle keys. The worst part is that a friend emailed requesting a quote on the afternoon of Wednesday October 6th and received a quote from Nancy on the morning of Thursday Oct 7th As a follow up, I did some more research. the subcontract their transportation out to other carriers. I found out that my vehicle was being transported by Abhi with Road Runner Freight INC. He was trying to hold my car ransom for payment from Ship My Ride who was in arrears with him. If your car is "missing" and Shipmyride is unresponsive try reaching out to Road Runner.

Avoid Avoid Avoid!! (They also go by Phantom Transport) Ship my ride has been the most awful experience with any business I’ve ever had (shipping or otherwise). I hired them to ship a car from Winnipeg to Ottawa. I could provide a long winded account of my experience but I’ll try and streamline it. -Ship my ride was very responsive and accommodating in providing a quote and had a lot of communication coordinating pick up dates and such (before I paid them). -I paid the entire amount as per the quote on Sept 20th. My vehicle was picked up on the date it was supposed to be picked up (Sept 27, 2021) -The initial promised delivery date was not met (Oct 1, 2021) -Communication from ship my ride between Oct 4-Oct 7 was non existent. None of my numerous emails, phone calls, texts, or Instagram messages were returned -I finally got a generic apologetic email on Oct 8 that my vehicle would be delivered Oct 16-18 -My vehicle did not arrive Oct 16-18 -There has been zero communication from ship my ride since Oct 8. -I called 25 shipping companies across Canada and the police in Calgary, Ottawa and Winnipeg to try and find my vehicle because ship my ride was ghosting me -I was lucky enough through my research find the contact information of the 3rd party company that ship my ride hired to deliver my vehicle (Road Runner Freight Inc). They communicated with me very well and were forthcoming and honest about when my car would be delivered. -I was told by the 3rd party that my vehicle was held as collateral by them for failure of payment by ship my ride. -My vehicle was delivered Oct 30, 2021 If this sounds like the type of experience you’re looking for then by all means hire ship my ride. One very important thing to keep in mind when hiring a shipping company is that you are basically at their mercy. Choosing one that takes their business seriously and has a focus on being transparent and honest with their customers is key. Should a company decide not to communicate with you (which is insane) your options are limited with regards to action by the police (as it’s a grey area criminally). You will most likely be directed to pursue civil litigation which won’t make your car arrive any quicker. My story is a repeat to the other reviews on here and it’s been a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and choose someone else.

Do not use this company! They took my money and told me my car would be delivered in 2 weeks. It took them 10 weeks. After 2 weeks I called and left messages and emails but they were never returned. I heard nothing from them until my car was delivered. When my car finally showed up my car had no brakes. Don't use this company!
