Shine Commercial Cleaning Inc - Airdrie

BEWARE ! Asked for Move Out cleaning - Rayna the owner said in her email they do it all ! Floors, walls, baseboards, appliances, bathrooms, etc. Flat rate $300. I had vacuumed for her, the oven was self cleaning and was done as well, Rayna commented that was awesome & happy I had done that for her. She showed up with minimal supplies (red flag right there), didn't see no mop or bucket so thought maybe she left the extra supplies in her van. After being 10 min's late & 3.5 hrs of cleaning & inspection ~ this is what was "NOT" done ~ non of the floors at all, not swept nor washed - she had no comment for that, baseboards ( she said they are only required to dust them ), walls ( only spot washed, my son's room had multiple spots of where he filled his picture holes with toothpaste so there was a little bit of residue on the walls. Rayna said nervously they didn't do it because the room was prepped with wall putty for painting - smh she didn't text or call to confirm, only assumed and was wrong. So I grabbed a cloth and started cleaning the walls myself, she said she'd help but again she only spot washed and didn't wipe the entire wall - in fact she hadn't wiped any of the walls at all. I asked if she wiped the walls to the ceiling, her response was she doesn't reach beyond her height due to WCB rules...omg! She thinks I'm an idiot, in kindness I had left her the tall ladder and she was thankful. She couldn't use the ladder to clean the walls, yet she could reach & clean the lights in the front enterance that's 12 ft from the floor ( she was quick to point out she had that light cleaned ) Rayna watched me start washing the walls in the front enterance & walked away, bathroom tubs were still dirty ~ didn't shine at all. She uses Vim for everything she said, and you can tell from the white film left behind where she did the odd cleaning. The tracks of the shower doors & closet/room doors not wiped down. The only appliance she had to clean was the fridge and it was left wet. The crispers had water in them (1/4") & the glass shelves were dripping wet of water. The windows she mentioned something for some reason gel'd onto the window ( I was aware ) & took forever to remove. She didn't have a straight edge blade to scrape excess areas otherwise it would of taken no time at all. There was some tape left on a one window from tin foil that was there, I used a blade, came off easy. She said they don't do outside windows, not even the screen doors. When I explain to other people about this horrible experience, they said she obviosly is not familiar with the term "Corner to Corner" cleaning. The house was pretty clean to begin with and Rayna commented it was the cleanest move out she had seen yet and was happy to see she had an easy job to do. When expressed that I wasn't happy, she said she would dock $40 off as she charges $40 hour per person and there was 2 of them. Even worse, there was 2 of them, what did they do in 3.5 hrs is beyond me & what happened to the flat rate ?? She went on about how Landlords don't look for those things, making excuses and asking why was I concerned ? I didn't hire you for your opinion & you didn't do the job you said you'd do in your email or during our walk through at the beginning. Rayna kept saying don't worry we will clean it all, it'll be taken care of during the walk through. At the end, Rayna went on about her law suit with her previous employer of 17 yrs and how she's waiting for the settlement - was irrelevant. She was eager to leave as she had another scheduled appointment and one of her co-workers had called looking for her. I was so frustrated and upset that I paid her the $260; upon looking back I should not have paid her at all. It took me only 2.5 hrs by "myself" to clean the house that I should had done in the first place however I did majority of the move myself and thought I'd treat myself and have someone else do it for me. Big mistake hiring this young lady - Lesson learnt. Beware, use this company at your own risk ! Very Unprofessional

Would 100% recommend!! Being a new mom I needed help with getting this house a good clean! My bathrooms sparkle and my kitchen is deep cleaned! She is so personable and great to talk to and her service allows me extra time with my babe!

I have had Shine come in and clean on Multiple Occasions at 2 Different Houses. My requests are always fulfilled and I have always been satisfied. I feel confident when refurring Rayna to Friends, Family and anyone looking for House Cleaner.

Rayna has done our house a couple of times now and I've got her booked to do a Christmas clean for the holidays as well! I love coming back to such a clean house... the fixtures all sparkle, the shower always looks like new and the rest of the house is welcoming and clean!! Always happy with the great job Rayna does!

Rayna & her team do a great job. When I return home I wouldn't know shes been there apart from a sparkly clean house, such is her attention to detail. She allocates time to clean the occasional items that our previous cleaner never touched - Thanks for a great job!

I just had Rayna at my home for a pre- Christmas clean today. This is the second time I have hired Rayna and I am very pleased with the great job she does. Rayna has come to my home for both a deep clean and regular residential cleaning and I couldn’t be happier. My shower door has never been completely crystal clear until Rayna came to clean. The blinds and baseboards looks new. Such an amazing job! So happy with her work!
