★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little lighthouse. Road down is narrow and parking lot is small at the end. Take the trail down and cross the road. Entrance down to the lighthouse is on the left side of the black gates. Easy to mistaken for a private driveway. Two trails down to the lighthouse. Jennie’s way is through the woods, winding, but easy to follow and less steep than the gravel path. Locals were looking for the orcas that had been there a few weeks ago. No luck when we visited but still a lovely view of the strait of Juan de Fuca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cool piece of history, and the signs were very informative. Loved the whale speaker on the water side of the lighthouse although we didn't hear whales on the speaker we saw one along with a couple seals. Made the mistake of following Google maps which took us down a private road when we should've just followed the signs and turned at Shirley Delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drive slowly to the parking lot as the road is very narrow. A short hike from the parking lot to the entrance gate. It seems wheelchairs may not be able to access there as there is a big rock in the middle of the exit of the trail. There are leaflets at the entrance gate. Very convenient to enter the gate freely.

I have asthma so for me it was a bit of a walk so be prepared. It's quite windy so if you are wearing a hat/cap be careful (someone flew into the water ?)
There is a nice trail before you enter the area so if you enjoy hikes/walks you can do that and continue for an amazing view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot with a beautiful lighthouse. I really enjoyed reading the history of the light house. We saw it on a windy day with crashing waves and three sea lions swimming by. A short drive from the main road then a well maintained short path down to the coast and the lighthouse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great historic lighthouse. Beautiful location and the place is well maintained! This was my favourite lighthouse to visit along the whole west coast! Google maps doesn't take you to the right parking lot when you come from Port Refrew. If you follow the main highway there is signs on where to go. It's just a little path and then a few switchbacks down to the lighthouse.
