Located approximately 45 minutes north of Saskatoon, near Waldheim, SK, Shekinah is located on the the North Saskatchewan river. Nestled on 287 acres in the river valley, Shekinah is a quiet place to get away from the worries and struggles of everyday life.
We have many trails that take you through our peaceful setting. You will see prairie, river hills, trees, and brush. This makes walking, hiking, biking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, and skating a spiritual activity.
Churches, faith groups, non-faith groups, non-profit organizations, government agencies, family gatherings, anniversaries, weddings, and special events have all enjoyed Shekinah for its facilities, wilderness setting, and spiritual atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent one of our most wonderful weekends of life some time in Fall at this retreat centre. The scenic view, warm breakfast, healthy lunch and dinner, clean bathroom, cozy rooms, and friendly smile made that weekend unforgettable. I am planning to visit them again some time in Winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A stunning surprise hidden in the Saskatchewan Prairie. This camp is tucked into the North Saskatchewan River Valley, with some beautiful trails along a ravine and through riverbank bush. A beautiful, modern timber framed lodge hosts guests, like school groups and special events. They also run a children's camp in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and well kept area, almost 300 acres. Perfect for school groups in the spring and fall (even winter if you want to winter camp or use one of the cabins).
Lots of features including fields, hiking trails, zip lining, Rock climbing, a place to play soccer, swing set, bridge with lookout tower, and much more. The North Saskatchewan River flows through the area and they have canoes and other water activities it seems.
Top notch staff that interacted very positively with a medium sized school group. Will definitely visit again. Extremely reasonable prices.
