★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very appalled and disgusted to hear the way Sheila Hanson spoke to my husband this week. He had been trying to reach her for days to ask about a financial matter involving some money he was owed and his calls were clearly being ignored. When she finally answered him, she spoke to him in a snappy, impatient way and made him feel absolutely awful. I could hear her speaking to him loudly through the phone from where I was standing across the room. She told him he was not a client of hers and she had no time for him and that he needed to speak to his boss (who is a client of hers) to get this dealt with.
We found out later on that she is currently dealing with stressful personal matters as to which I can sympathise. However, you do not have the right to speak to anyone in this way, nor should you be taking your personal matters to work with you. Especially while running a business.
Sheila Hanson will never have our business, nor the business of any of our family and friends. A simple apology could fix this but I doubt we will ever receive that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic accounting firm. Everyone who works there is extremely attentive. They go above and beyond in service to their clients and always treat us with respect. We were amazed at the care they showed us during the COVID-19 situation. For example, navigating the government subsidies was overwhelming, but the staff at Sheila's office always seemed to understand the new programs, and even applied for the ones we were eligible for on our behalf. I came in to drop off our monthly paperwork and there was a $3,000 cheque from the government waiting for us that I didn't even know we qualified for.
It is very comforting knowing that there is a team of competent and attentive professionals looking after the accounting side of our business. This saves us stress and frees up time and energy to put into money generating activities. 5 Stars.
