Today I had the grilled sockeye salmon...another excellent meal! And our server, Hannah was friendly, efficient and courteous. I highly recommend Sharkey's ?

Good ambiance, although it looks like a neighborhood pub, but it was a good ambiance and good menu. Will come back for more!

I requested to move to a different table on the patio even before we ordered, and was denied due to "covid-protocol" (pretty sure it meant they would just have to wipe down the table again). I asked to speak to the manager and despite it being a slow weekday, the manager never even came out and no explanation was given. Now for the food.... I ordered a burger that was dry and flavourless. I assume seafood might be their specialty, but cooking a decent burger isn't asking for too much.

My parents and I were seated right away and started off with some beverages as well as an order of calamari. It was pretty good but, felt a little small. For my main, I went with the Fresh Steelhead meal off the chef’s special menu with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. No regrets with that choice. The blueberry sauce that comes with it compliments the fish very nicely. Although, I should’ve gone for a glass of white or red wine instead of the 16 ounce beer on tap I had gotten. There was nothing wrong with the beer, I just feel like I would’ve gotten a different experience had I gone with a good glass of wine. Staff was very friendly and our server came at timely intervals to check up on us. All in all, very great service. I will definitely come back again.

Burger was a bit sloppy but that was my fault for getting guacamole so less is more. Deserts tasted great and even got some to go. If you are in the neighbourhood and in the mood for some classic pub food definitely check it out
