In just a few sessions he has worked wonders with Nass. We will keep making the drive all the way out from Squamish to meet with Shade -- it's more than worth it!

In the six months of working with our Border Collie-Aussie Shepherd mix, Shade has masterfully applied his own personalized brand of patience and positivity to help make our dog a well-behaved family member. Shade's enthusiasm and love for dogs is obvious, he and his wife Natalia were born to their profession. They consistently apply their passion for well-trained canines with every class they teach, and make it fun while doing it, both for the dog and the owner. Hire Shade and Natalia as your trainers. Your dog will thank you.

I’ve been needing help with my Border collie/lab mix, and when I came across Shades business page I knew it would be a great match! He was very easy to get ahold of, and got me in pretty quickly. When he arrived he was very understanding with my girl, as she’s got very high anxiety. In the 2 hour session he was here for, my dog was showing him signs she was comfortable. It takes her weeks if not months to gradually get this comfortable. He educated me on what he could see right away in her, the psychology aspect of the training, and why he got into this field. His passion for animals definitely shows ! I am definitely impressed at the level of comfort my dog has displayed towards him. I will definitely be hiring Shade for monthly training and dog walks. He’s also very reasonably priced as for someone on a limited income. Thank you Shade, can’t wait to work with you more in the future!

She had anxiety on walks, was overly excited at the front door, and had become protective on the house and car. As a result I developed anxiety with walking her and her reactivity. Shade has been our knight in shining armor! He has a wealth of knowledge on dog psychology and reads dogs so amazingly well! He is very passionate about his work and it definitely shows in his high standard of service! After teaching us about positive reinforcement training he showed us how to introduce Oreo to new people. Over the next few sessions we worked on all our problems together with positive training techniques and changed my anxieties into 'training opportunities'. The results have been incredible! Our 9 year old dog has become noticeably more relaxed during these tougher moments but also overall. We will continue to work with Shade and we are so very grateful we found him!
