The young man who cleaned our gutters did a great job, he took before and after pictures which was great. He also blew the leaves off our roof which was an added bonus. He gave us a discount because he said he left a little bit of a mess, but it was barely noticeable. He was very friendly, personable and professional. I would highly recommend Shack Shine, they are a great value.

Very disappointing experience with the company. * Nov 13, 2021 They came to our place to do an estimate for Christmas lights (requested a quote for both permanent and temporary lighting installation), Patio lights, Roof Cleaning and Gutter Cleaning. We were assured that we are going to receive a quote soon and if we book in a few days, we can get the Christmas lights installed by the end of November. * Nov 17, 2021 No quote had been received, so we followed up with the company and were advised that we will receive a quote soon. So we waited patiently. * Nov 24, 2021 No quote had been received, so we followed up with the company again and was advised again that we will receive a quote soon. At this point, we were getting concerned about the promised timeline for Christmas lights installation but there's not much else we could do but to wait for the quote. * Dec 3, 2021 We were originally promised that we could have the Christmas lights up at the end of November but without any explanation or apologies or whatsoever, they delayed the quote for almost 3 weeks. We finally received a quote on Dec 3. However, it was only for temporary Christmas lights installation even though we requested quotes for Christmas lights (both permanent and temporary), Patio Lights, Roofing and Gutter Cleaning. We had the estimate done mid November and was assured that the lights would be up before December.  And only the portion of the quote came on December 3, 2021. The company did not keep their promise (i.e. provision of prompt quote, available installation dates).  The company lacked customer service as they kept us just waiting for the quote forever without providing any explanations why our quote is being delayed despite the assurance. Yes it's a busy season and we experienced extreme weather challenges in BC.  So we would have been understanding if they explained why the quote was getting delayed despite the initial promise.  The thing that really frustrated us is that they ignored us, period. No explanation whatsoever. And at the end they provided a quote only for the portion of the work requested. Frustrating to say the least.

We've used these folks 2 times. First time the quote process was well done and the glass came out sparkling clean. Second time it was even easier. A quick online schedule, and since they already had all the details and photos needed the price/timing was done in minutes. Super easy. And they did a great job. The team was friendly, ontime. You could probably find a cheaper price but their cost was inline with the other quotes we've had. All in all, easy, job well done and priced competitively. Exactly what you want in a contractor.

I have used these guys for washing my home, windows, and roof, as well as installing and taking down my Christmas lights for the last three years and they are awesome. Martin and his team are fantastic and we would highly recommend them.

Excellent fast service, were on time and gave a phone call in advance to confirm arrival. Took before and after photos to show the work that was done. Gutters were much cleaner after! Highly recommend.

Contacted them and got their quote to do a simple job of cleaning house siding and garage doors = $1500!!! We’re at a central location directly across the street from their truck/ equipment so transport & gas prices were not an issue. Soon after this, we got another quote for $400. And this other company did a fantastic job. House sparkles! If you want to pay FOUR TIMES market value, go for shack shine! ??? ….what a joke
