SFC Seoul Fried Chicken - Edmonton

Best Fried Chicken I have ever had. Great for all you get in a combo: flavour, presentation and price. I ordered a combo of 5 pcs Cilantro Chicken + Water + Pesto Mac n' Cheese and home made Fries + extra 5 pcs of Garlic Soy Chicken. SOOO Good!!! Fries look home made and were very tasty. Mac n cheese was good too. The Cilantro sauce to dip was great. Garlic Soy flavour was great for a mix taste of sweet and sour. My partner and I were full at the end of only one combo. Also nice presentation of the packaging. No napkins or fork to eat on the go which it's ok for a take out order. After placing my order online I picked it up 35min after. When I got there there was nobody at the front desk. I waited until a guy showed up and I said my name. Then another guy came from the back but no greetings or small talks with customers. Quiet customer service. I understand they may had been busy and low staff I'm assuming. I'd prefer a warm welcome at arrival though. Other than that the interior is super nice with art work on the wall possibly making reference to celebrate the Lunar Year the Year of Tiger on black tile walls and a warm wood accent in the middle. Inside it looks set up for take-outs due to Covid which is understandable. Definitely Coming Back and I'll TIP for a warm welcome next! :) 4.9 Stars out of 5 as there is room for improvement. :)

This place was incredible. The best chicken you will ever get. They only have take out, but you can order ahead. It was a little slow, but I went right at lunch tome, so considering it actually wasnt too bad.

Really delicious place to go for KFC. They have a Five-Piece Chicken Set with choice of flavour (5 or 6 flavour to choose from) with half salad, fries or corn fritter, and a drink. The chicken was crispy and full of flavour. Pretty sweet deal imo and gets you full for $14!

Definitely one of the best places in town for fried chicken. Flavour choices are all very delicious. Prices are really good for how much food you get. Will be back and will be telling everyone about this place.

Great food and value, but disappointed with my experience tonight. I arrived at the time my online order was to be ready, but waited for more than 30 minutes while 6-7 orders, including walk-in orders, were fulfilled ahead of mine. A simple explanation or apology would've been appreciated. On top of that, the order was accepted although they ran out of the side I chose (not a big deal), but the replacement side's container was barely over half full. Do not recommend ordering online.

UPDATED REVIEW: bumped this to 4 stars, I've been back a dozen times since the original review as my work and family are now hooked on this chicken. Only leaving a star off because my complaint with feathers wasn't acknowledged and seemed to happen to others but has not happened since those first 2 orders. The chicken is really tasty, the different flavors are all awesome and the price is worth it for the flavour. It still can be a long wait but they are very good if you place the order online and call them before you come in as they don't want to make it and leave it cold for you! They have a fair stamp card system to save a bit of money over time. Fries are solid. Haven't tried desserts or Buns yet! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Let me start by saying the feathers I got in my chicken on both occasions dimmed this review significantly. If I managed to get an order without feathers I'd rate differently. Just a bit gross and weird, they could easily pluck these. I found the fried chicken to taste good, had minimal bones throughout the box, their flavors are good, I took sauce on the side so they didn't get soggy the next day but the garlic parmesan and the cilantro lime were tasty. The prices went up between visits and compared to online menu which is unfortunate but still not unreasonable. The location was very busy the first time I was there, small but trendy looking, second time I ordered on the site and came in around the eta time and ended up waiting a half hour still. First time was about an hour. Not nice waiting that long even though the food is very tasty like a 4/5 or something. Just the feathers and crazy wait holding them back for me, I do appreciate a stamp card too.

Loved the wings from here. Very high quality and the different flavours were really good. We tried the spicy BBQ which if you like spicy was not really spicy at all but still good. We also tried the cilantro lime which again was delicious. Those ones came with a dipping sauce which was really good. The place is take out only so don't plan on eating here and they have limited parking. Prices are reasonable at $16 to $18 for a half order and was really quick.

The fried chicken here is awesome. The tastes and flavours are both diverse and yummy. House thick cut fries are great too! Really hits the spot if you are craving fried chicken and the fact that it comes in multiple flavours is a bonus. I reccomend the BBQ, cilantro, and garlic soy flavors.
