★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed to have a dress taken in and hemmed with short notice (<1 week). I was up front about this and she was super friendly and assured me that it would not be a problem as at the time she was not busy as she basically had no work during this whole covid thing. She said it would be ready for a fitting in 2 days.
There is an overpowering smell of incense and sensory overload of colourful skull art all over the entire entrance area. Despite this, I left with a good impression (and a headache), confident I had chosen the right seamstress.
Sadly, the integrity of this transaction degraded with each visit as it became apparent that she was overwhelmed, and her skill level is basically a practiced amateur. Each fitting was a bit shocking at how far off it was- and I wondered why she needed 2-3 days to sew two lines.
After several delays, I dared to ask why, and it resulted in her texting me angrily that she has lots of big jobs right now and I shouldn't expect her to do mine first, then demanded 50% more than what was quoted. I was rather confused with the change in information (from not busy and so happy to have some work- to being so overwhelmed with jobs she now claimed she had before mine).
In the end, the job was done in the nick of time, but the taking in of the dress was just a fold and sew line on the inside of each side of the dress, creating two flaps. A proper taking in is not visible and leaves a nice flat seam. Had I known this, I would have done the job myself in a day with my limited sewing skills and ended up with the same result.
Due to her unprofessional demeanor, inability to gauge her work load, and craftsmanship leaving a lot to be desired I do not recommend this business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did an absolute AMAZING job altering my wedding dress! Christy is so friendly and kind! She didn’t even blink an eye when I changed my mind a few times on the alterations ?. And so affordable! I definitely recommend her to any bride or anyone that needs alterations on anything!

She will insist that you try on the finished product and make sure that you are happy walking out of her door. You can tell that she loves what she does. Overall, I would say that I will come back for sure for my future alteration needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Christy hemmed some pants for my husband that needed to be done quickly. She worked her magic and did a stellar job that day. She was extremely friendly and covid compliant so I did not worry in the least when I was there to have the work done.
Would I go back to her for any sewing needs? Absolutely!!!! I love her work and work ethic, she did what I asked and did it with care, respect, and responsibility. Highly recommended

She is lovely to do business with and did exactly what I asked for at an affordable price. Christy even went as far as finding a zipper for my dress that was blue, just as the old broken one was. Thanks Christy!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could NOT be happier with the service from this wonderful woman! She took a beautiful (and expensive) dress to new heights for me so I could look my best at a Christmas gathering. It wasn't an easy task because there was intricate lacework and beading to be done, but the final result was perfect and it looked like the dress was made that way. She also altered a friend's dress on short notice for the same gathering, so we could both shine! I would recommend her services to anyone. I also could not believe the price, she did the work for far less than I expected, and I loved the result!
