I can't believe they put us through this.... outside for hours! Rain - wind - 15$ parking .... the actual WORST

The passport office employees are going above and beyond during this huge influx of passport applications. They have been extremely accommodating and helpful during a very busy time!

Made appointment to get the passport as per the current requirements which was pretty easy & smooth. The person at the door was very polite & asked to wait for my turn. The another person at the office entrance greeted me & asked how was my day & welcomed me. The person who checked me in at the window was very polite. I waited only 15mins for my turn to submit my application. I was at window 7, the lady there was very friendly & understanding (I did not ask for her name sorry for that).I had many questions regarding my application as it was my first time getting a passport. She took the time to explain everything to me. Also, asked me to take my time & let me call my husband to verify something. I highly recommend this location for passport services.

Highly recommended. We went there to apply for passport of little one. Booked appointment early so were able to skip the line which was TOO LONG. Went up to 4th floor, told them we are here for passport application of baby, they gave us ticket#/ reference#, waited for 10-15 mins then our turn came. Showed up at Window 12 and Colin helped us out. We were out building in 20-25 mins.

No contact number, you call the number they tell you one thing then you go into the location and they haven’t even started your passport. Applied months ago and the guy says “you have lots of time” 5 days before my flight

Hours of service: 8:30-4 monday to friday. Hours of school: 9-4 monday to friday. So now I'm going to have to skip school to get my passport done. I don't know who can go to this place without having to cancel another commitment like school or work with hours like these. At the very least couldn't they have made it open on saturdays?

Is passport Canada slammed with people getting passports ? are they struggling to get them out, yes! BUT I can tell you that the WINNIPEG office, down to the first screening at the security guards, has been fantastic. They are prioritizing date of travel, so yes, this means you’ll likely get your passport last minute and May have to be persistent to get that date and time for pickup but they are really trying and get it done. My pickup date is May 5th and I leave May 6th at 5:30 in the morning. I’ve gone into the office on April 25th by appointment they said they would call me in 2 days, called me the next day saying I’d get it on the 5th but I didn’t get a time for pickup. So I tried to call the call center, couldn’t get though. I did a walk-in on the 27th. The security team heard my situation new it was a quick answer and let me in (thank you). The team on the 4th floor were awesome, I gave the individual my file number and quickly briefed them. He came back with date and time for pickup. It’s not ideal to wait last minute but they are really trying and doing their best. It’s stressful for sure. But once you get that date and time it’s solidified. Good job winnipeg passport team! It can’t be easy getting slammed with 40% more requests than you use to!

We are suppose to leave on sunday to go to Florida. Sent expired passport and paperwork in at the beginning of March. Have spent probably 15-20 hours on the phone and on hold trying to get information of when we would have the passport. We sent in our flight information at their request over 2 weeks ago. We have been told by a couple of agents that we will have it in time no problem. So here we are on Good Friday with no passport to leave on Sunday so I guess that means trip is cancelled and lots of money wasted. Thanks so much.
