Good Soup ? No more trips to Vancouver for good ramen. I order from here once a month at least, hooked. The Red Hot and The Black are to die for.

Bright and cozy atmosphere with super attentive staff (the tea never stopped flowing!). My husband and I ordered the Shoyu latte ramen, chashu rice bowl, and appetizer plate for 2. The appetizer plate was well seasoned and crispy. The chashu rice bowl was good but definitely needed the chili sauce and garlic on the table, and the ramen had a well-rounded flavour but the broth wasn’t what I’m normally used to. We’ll be back to try more of the menu.

Polite service, food was quick to come out. Ramen was filling and both broths we tried were amazingly delicious. My "The Black" special ramen had piping hot soup which I loved, while the "Red Hot" special ramen had medium warm soup which was perfect for my husband. It worked out. The portion was big enough for both of us (I never finished mine). Would definitely come back!

Wasn’t happy with our order. I ordered the hot ramen. The egg that came with it was very cold. As for the Bella poke bowl, the rice underneath was very lumpy, and the eggs were very sweet. I do not recommend at all. They do have big servings for the ramen and have good presentation but that’s about it.

Food was delicious at this spot! I tried the pokΓ¨ and my friend tried their pork ramen. Service was okay, but I found it strange how we were seated at a table then told that we would have to move if a big group would come. A big group didn’t come, so we were fine. I wouldn’t recommend servers doing that to a customer.

Great spot for the ramen and the server kept checking up on us even when everything was great. First off, appetizers were great too, specially the prawn tempura and the crunchy gyoza. Not too many places do panko breadcrumbs on tempura but, it makes a huge difference. Gyoza was done really well too. Don't see a crunchy style of cooking them and definitely did like the way they made these too. Just something different. Ramen was awesome. I had the black ramen. The bowl had thin firm noodles and a smooth broth. Was expecting a deeper flavor but, its good in its own way. Pork chashu melts in your mouth and cooked perfectly. This bowl was awesome. First time going here so not sure how busy they get. The place is not that big so might end up waiting sometimes. Will be back in the future to try their other bowls!

Restaurant is cozy and service is prompt and pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a let down. I ordered the Bella ramen with an ajitama. I can see why other reviews mentioned issues with temperature of the food. The chicken was very cold and tasted like it was boiled, not sous vide like in the description. I'd recommend Marutama for a good chicken ramen. The sprouts and spinach were also cold. Then you have the hot broth which tastes more like a chicken soup with WAY too much white pepper (which was an odd flavor) than a bowl of ramen. The noodles were soft like instant noodles instead of al dente like ramen noodles. Finally, the ajitama (soy egg) was overcooked and lacked flavor. If this dish was called Kalguksu (Korean noodle soup) then that would make more sense. I would not call this dish 'ramen'. Note: there are Korean ramen restaurants that I'd recommend, like Smoking Pig in Coquitam. In the end, I ate half my lunch and then went to another place to eat. Maybe the ramen with the pork dishes are better. I don't think I'll be able to return to try it though. Just my opinion...there are other, more positive reviews, so take this with a grain of salt. I would rather eat at Akedo Showten in Langley.

Very pleasant experience! The restaurant is cozy with nice background music, the waiter was very attentive and our food came quickly. We both got the black ramen, which is very good if you are new to ramen, which we are, it's one of their most popular dishes. The ramen was just enough to make you full, but not over-full. Would definitely recommend!!! There is also free parking right across the street so very easy to get to
