★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible food, service, and location. I'm not big on Korean food but my partner is so took him there on his 70th birthday last night. Guess what? I love Korean food now. It was truly a great experience on this birthday trip to the other side of the island. Uclulet has a gem that I am sure other Island communities would be jealous of.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding food and service. All our meals were fresh, unique, and delicious. The Hot Stone Bibim Bap was incredible. It comes in a piping hot stone bowl and continues to cook and develop flavour as you enjoy it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly guy came out to great us! Owner or chef? Another guy was flipping fresh pizza dough and waiter came to quickly take our order. Got take out and the food tasted great, comparable to ones in Vancover. Surprised to find Korean in a small town so authentic. Ordered the short rib, pork belly bitmap, KFC, Kimchi fried rice, muscles, and sushi. Wait was a bit longer but they were really busy with a lot of take out orders. We would come back to the fabulous eatery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made reservations for 6pm and when we arrived were seated fairly quickly. There was only 1 person for 10 tables, but service was good. I ordered a Gin & Tonic and they didn't have limes. The food was really good, and came out hot. We ordered 4 small plates to share. Vegetable tempora, Korean BBQ Gal Bi, Korean Fried Chicken, Crispy Avocado Roll.

Actually not what we expected, as we initially thought before entering that Seom would be a takeout place — we were very wrong and very pleasantly impressed! Aside from the fine-dining ambiance which is just awesome, Seom is very chilled and down to earth, with incredibly friendly servers and a beautiful view over Ucluelet harbour. However, it’s the food that really knocked our socks off and left us speechless aside from “WOW”! The Korean BBQ Gal Bi ribs (which were apparently cooking minimum 2 days) were spectacular! Fall off the bone juicy and delicious; one could easily eat 100 of those! The vegetables on the same plate with the ribs were cooked perfectly; incredibly flavourful and fresh. Korean fried chicken (KFC) is a must; delicious. Vegetable and shrimp tempura were absolutely amazing— such a delicate batter, and the homemade sauce for both just brilliant. Everything, and I mean everything, was perfectly done. We will come back and try other items. So far, Seom is the best place I’ve found in Ucluelet to dine out. Very highly recommended!
