★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely well-run seniors programming and fantastic food service at reasonable prices! Very high quality! White tablecloths in the dining room! Victor runs a tight ship in the kitchen! The fitness programs are excellent! Mental health programming in Kingston could learn a lot from how the senior center is run! Mental health is health and programming for this population should be as well run as a senior center is! Seniors vote and that probably influences why the center's well-run! The mentally ill should vote to and they might get more respect and less stigma!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SAKR provides plenty of reasons for seniors to get out of their residences safely and learn about many new things. Members can learn how to exercise carefully, understand how people from other countries live, learn a foreign language, play cards or majong, have lunch with a friend.
Instructors enlighten members about historic events at home abroad, and if you are keen on current events or politics then the Conversation Pit is just what you need to voice an opinion.
The monthly magazine is included with a membership. I've been a member for about 12 years and my membership has been worth every penny each year.
The staff members are wonderful and throughout the pandemic they have not just maintained the Association but made the Francis St location shine like a new penny.
We have so many playing Pickleball that we have trouble keeping up with the demand.
If you think you are a senior check it out....you won't regret it!
