★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buyer beware, do not make online artwork purchases through the society's website. It's taken me months to find out that there is no record of my purchase and I'm left with having to pursue a refund from PayPal and was directed to contact the artist directly to make the purchase. Very disappointed with this organization.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have exhibited in six SAS online shows this past year and have been thrilled with the way my artwork - and that of other artists - have been supported and showcased. Each artist was presented on social media for a day, with commentary; all works were given individual exposure. I will continue to exhibit with SAS into the foreseeable future!
I also enrolled in the Bas Relief Pottery class for the winter session (January to March), free for participants 55+. It was an in person class with much attention to COVID protocols and PHO, so I felt very safe in the room. This class was so relaxing with a great instructor and a lovely group of participants. Daphne Tate led instruction in a non-hurried pace and was supportive in our creations. I very much looked forward to attending each week, so that I could create in this wonderful setting.
Thank you Semiahmoo Arts, for offering so many opportunities in which artists can express themselves!
