β β β β β Our children started private piano lessons with The Arts Conservatory at the start of 2021 and have thoroughly enjoyed their experience there so far. The Arts Conservatory offers a safe and equipped environment and their teaching staff is attentive to students' individual needs, always encouraging them to try their personal bests. We'd recommend The Arts Conservatory to parents looking to start or continue their children's musical journey!

β β β β β As a young child I started playing the Piano as soon as I could reach the keys. My mom contacted Linda Shirley at The Arts Connection as signed me up for piano lessons. I started with the Kelly Kirby program with Linda and I loved it. That was the start of 11 years of formal piano lessons with a handful of very special teachers. My passion is music and my foundation of instruction allowed me to learn how to play many other instruments and join many jazz bands and youth orchestras. I branched out in to the genre of Jazz in my teens and fell in love with the Jazz piano in particular. I owe my ability and my sense of confidence in reading music to my formal theory instruction and practical instruction I received at The Arts Conservatory. I would not be who I am without discovering my passion and having it fostered in such a wonderful and professional environment.

The Arts Conservatory provides a βone stop shopβ for parents looking for high quality learning opportunities for their children. Our kids started with piano and dance lessons while still in pre-school over a decade ago and we have seen them blossom under the instruction and care of top-notch music and dance teachers. Royal Conservatory of Music (including Kelly Kirby) and Royal Academy of Dance curriculum form the basis of music and dance instruction delivered by highly qualified instructors, many of whom are accomplished artists in their own right. We appreciate that students are encouraged to do their best and support their classmates no matter what their level of ability. Performances, examinations, and student recognition awards have helped each of our children build their sense of achievement and self confidence. We also admire the Arts Conservatoryβs community activism and sense of social responsibility with programs such as βReach to Teachβ which strives to provide equal access to the arts.

β β β β β My daughters have been taking dance lessons since age 3 and piano since they were 4 at the Arts Conservatory and I cannot imagine them going to any other studio that has such a wide range of activities!
This year for dance, the girls are taking ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip hop and are loving each class! The teachers are all wonderful and should be commended for their professionalism and strict adherence to COVID policy and protocols.
We feel safe sending our girls to the Arts Conservatory which a top priority as a parent.
Keep up the great work!

β β β β β By far the best piano learning experience my 2 daughters have had. The teachers here are so kind caring, and the most talented of any school I have been to. Kelly Kirby Introductory Piano Program was the best thing my daughters did. If anyone is looking to start Piano lessons for their children, this is absolutely the only place I will go to. Considering I live 45 min away, well worth the drive to Richmond.

β β β β β At the Arts Conservatory, there is a great music program. They teach drums, violin and piano. I think the Arts Conservatory is really good because the music programs there give you opportunities to go to recitals and master classes. When you attend these events, it helps you gain more confidence. I really like the piano program because it taught me a lot and I really enjoyed playing piano. I started to learn playing piano there when I was 5 years old. Now I still play piano every week and love it. I highly recommend that you learn how to play music at the Arts Conservatory. The teachers are passionate about music, caring and helpful.--------From current student - Maegan.

β β β β β The quality of the lesson and experience is beyond the expectations! Linda the CEO of arts conservatory is a professional incredible teacher and an amazing educator, we started the music class with her and we benefited from her and arts conservatory not only just the music but also many aspects of life to our family and the kid.
We enjoy the learning environment, the classrooms are clean and characterized and with elegant decorations.
The staff and teachers of the Arts conservatory are all nice and kind, we also have dance classes. Miss Kara and Miss Tessa and Miss Vanessa are incredible great! My daughter loves them all!!! It is also very convenient for the parents that they have the ability to schedule multiple disciplines together for easier access.
Highly recommended and have referred many of friends to join!

β β β β β My five year old daughter has been taking piano lessons for the past year and a half at the Arts Conservatory and we have been absolutely thrilled with the experience we've had there. The staff are lovely, helpful, and quick to answer questions. My daughter's teacher has been incredibly supportive of her learning and constantly demonstrates a deep devotion to making music education fun and accessible for the youngest learners. My daughter has made amazing progress and truly enjoys her lessons. We've also been well supported as parents when it comes to finding strategies for keeping our daughter engaged with at home practice. Communication with staff and teachers has been top notch all around. I wholeheartedly recommend the Arts Conservatory to anyone looking for music lessons for their kids.
