★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cycle across Selkirk Trestle Bridge often doing my Galloping Goose➡️Langford➡️E&N Trail loop. Always glance to see if this “live aboard” is still afloat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bridge is very sturdy. I have crossed it hundreds of times and it has never collapsed. It does an excellent job of getting you between Gorge-Burnside and Vic West — much more convenient than swimming across the Selkirk Waterway (or walking to Bay Street or Tillicum Road to use one of those bridges). The bridge boasts great views of the inner harbour and Gorge Waterway because it is right in the middle of them.
