★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Often, this park is clean and full of friendly faces. With the addition of the fence around the playground, I believe most people will feel more at ease in the park with young children. I am hopeful that the fence doesn't provide a false sense of security.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous views of the gorge inlet. Easy walking trail along the galloping goose as usual. Bathrooms available in the nearby community centre. Playground is also fun for all ages.

Access to the water and swimming too!
There is a bike trail connecting this park to the rest of the city's bike network.
Tennis courts are here too.
There is a floating platform with a tree on it floating not too far from shore and you can swim out to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my second attempt at strolling through this area. I came a few weeks ago but the park was locked off with police tape due to an officer being attacked. The area is super quiet and seems like a nice place to relax. There is a beautiful view of the water and it has a floating dock the you can swim out too as well. Great place for walking or riding a bike as it leads out to the Selkirk Trestle. I highly recommend coming and exploring this location, I'm sure the incident was a one off as this is a beautiful family oriented environment with a playground not too far off for more enjoyment for the kids.
