★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think Bolt/Second Closet has management issues. They lose items. I used their storage service and around 1/5 of my items were lost including some key parts of my bed, which made me lose around $3000, but they can only pay me $100 as compensation because I did not buy extra protection plan. What a joke?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will lose your items you have stored and then not reply. I didn't get my items back until I threatened legal action. The couch I was able to get back after they suddenly "found" it has water and mold damage. I am beyond angry.

They don't even deserve 1 star. Bolt/Second Closet is a sham.
I booked an appointment 2 months ago to have my furniture delivered. They originally 'lost' our furniture items (worth over $7,000+). When I threatened to sue them for the cost and replacement of the items they magically were found. They were originally called Second Closet and have rebranded to Bolt. Their business model is literally storing and delivering your furniture—which they don't seem to be able to do.
The service is expensive but horrific.
I just received my keyboard piano and sofa today and my sofa (a $5,000 West Elm leather sofa), and the cushions and seat have mold and some sort of water stains on them. My sofa was almost new and in mint condition what I originally stored it with them.
I have also heard of other people storing expensive items or family heirlooms and them turning up "missing."
I advise anyone to NOT use this company and report them to better business bureau.
I'm going to be filing a small claims court case against them to try and replace the cost of my damaged couch.
This entire process and company has been one of the WORST services I have EVER used.
