★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a quote for them to change a motor in a 2011 Chevrolet equinox and I had a motor prised out from sgi for 1300 and was told it would be 100 per hr for around 10 hrs of labor so the quote was 2500 give or take so a month later I'm called and it's done but the bill is 3800 reason they gave me is the motor from sgi was wrong one so they bought one for an extra 1200 without consulting with me and when I asked to see proof of the perches the owner was shaking visibly nervous he comes out with a receipt that they clearly just wrote up them self for 2500 it turns out it was not the motor that needed to be changed it was my lifters that were gone and they billed me for a motor job they didn't do and a motor they did not purchase but I paid the bill to get my SUV back and when I got it back my engine light was on along with every other warning light in dash my awd was disengaged and when I took it on the highway I could still smell oil so I paid 4000 for it to still have major issues I wanted a new motor and got a half fixed one which was already my own and they charged me 2500 for it and there was issues that weren't there when I dropped it off so ya they are very shady
