Worst customer service. This Branch is the worst, they don't even deserve one star. I had to deposit my Paycheck in the ATM because by the time I finish work that branch would of been closed. It was deposited on Tuesday, they didn't freeze my account the rest of the week and then on Christmas Eve they put a hold on my account. What kind of people would freeze someone account before Christmas. Now I have to wait until Dec 29th to access my account. I couldn't even get groceries for Christmas dinner. Called the customer service hotline and they refused to help stating that it's up to the branch to do something. No Manager or customer care lead to assist urgent matter. Now I have to wait until the branch decided to reopen. Thank you Scotiabank for running my family's Christmas.

Was at the branch to make a deposit, the branch Manager was very rude and disrespectful. She called the police when I started to record her and when I informed her I will be contacting her Manager. She laughed, but was mad when we recorded her and said I'm disrespectful when I educated her about the government roles.

I'm not really sure where else to go with this review. But I had an absolutely horrendous experience working with scotiabank. I called requesting a legal document for a very time sensitive issue that I made aware from the beginning. I had to call 6 separate times because it was not provided to me within the time frame given. It was finally explained to me on the sixth call that there was an error with my mailing address and that's why it wasn't released to me. I made them aware everytime I called and waited on hold for over an hour that I urgently needed this document as soon as they could, and understood it could not be rushed. The lack of diligence in this and time and stress that I had was not okay. The last individual I spoke to was very harsh with me. Terrible experience, enough to never recommend scotiabank to anyone.

If I could give "0" Stars I would. We have been clients at Scotiabank for over 20 years and recently (mostly with the same teller), we will get harassed for cash withdrawals. I'm not talking the "over $10,000" kind of stuff which the banks are required to question and report to Fintrac. I'm talking about smaller amounts under $3000. These kinds of cash withdrawals are "none of their business" yet my daughter who works hard, goes to uni and has consistently saved for school and has been a customer of the bank for about 15 yrs, was harassed when making a cash withdrawal. In fact the teller got a supervisor involved who, for about 10 minutes, questioned her as to "why she was withdrawing the money, what was she using it for, was someone influencing her to withdraw her money from scotiabank". When my daughter refused to answer and simply said it was for personal use and she was confused about what they were asking her, the supervisor asked if there was "3rd party influence in her cash withdrawal from Scotia bank". My daughter felt like they were accusing her of something criminal. My daughter is not only very uncomfortable going back to this branch. The manager later said this "random" picking of people to "question" was the NEW POLICY of Scotiabank. I'm questioning the validity of this because he also said it was not acceptable for the frontline staff to do what they did and he would use it as a coaching opportunity. Well if it is policy, why would there be a "coaching opportunity"?

I have nothing but bad experience at this branch. The account managers are unreliable. I have been waiting for a call/feed back from my account manager for months now. After making an appointment with the branch, I have had my appointment canceled without any feedback or response as to why it was canceled. Before I go on to rule out Scotiabank as a whole, I will be dealing with a different branch from this point forth. I would avoid this branch by all means.

Great experiences here, everything has always been explained to me very clearly, though I have pretty simple banking needs! Had to stop in today to withdraw a good chunk of cash to buy a car private sale, and Shayal behind the desk was incredible, so kind and went above and beyond. The supervisor lady (I didn’t see her name tag) was also fantastic and took the time to explain my line of credit to me, which was very appreciated!
