I have been having a lot of trouble making an appointment to open an account, anyways a new employee helped me she was nice and polite all the time, she struggled a bit with the computer but I give her 5 stars for her service and positive attitude with me, thank you so much you are doing an amazing job! I know that I am not an easy costumer. She give me an appointment in 2 weeks, so I asked to talk whit someone else just to verify the info and he explained to me how to open an account from home, it worked thank you so much !!! excellent servise and amazing new staff!!

Visited branch several times to check the status of my application as it was taking longer than usual. Every time they told me its approved and will come in mail. Yesterday, i called their helpline; which eventually helped me to talk to some manager over there and he said he cant access my credit card application anymore and doesn’t know what happened to that file. And offered me to do another application; which i refused; as i don’t wanna screw up my credit score more because of their stupidity again.

And if you are a student she will try to bully you. To be honest the management was way better 4 years ago.

Staff and management are incompetent at performing basic tasks such as depositing a certified bank draft. Went across the street to RBC and it was done in a courteous and professional manner within minutes. Will be closing my accounts and credit cards at Scotia.

The first was with a teller who was very friendly and helpful , I specifically went in to order another bank card as mine was not working intermittently. She said it would be mailed to my address within a week. It’s been 2 weeks now and no card. Immediately following I walked over to the receptionist who books appointments with advisors.. I booked an appointment for Thursday that same week, she gave me a business card with the appointment written on it. When I presented for my appointment, there was no appointment showing for me at all for anytime! She was unable to rebook me for a similar time as my work schedule didn’t work. She was apologetic and assured me that someone would call me and try and assist me over the phone. Again No one has bothered to get in touch with me. I am most unsatisfied with my experience. I will be likely taking my mortgage and accounts elsewhere.
