Horrible experience. I don't know who hired that financial adviser (forgot her name) who doesn't know any information and also gave me all the wrong information about my account. Not going to that branch again.

Terrible bank. The employees are rude. Will never bring my business there again on my own free will. I had an account there and within the first week my account was being frauded, so I stopped using it. Then I got a new job that pays with checks from this bank but because I dont use my account there I had to pay them 5 dollars to cash my cheque once. And then they refused to cash my cheques there anymore. Worst. Bank. Ever. 0/5 would not recommend to anyone. Ever.

Last year I would of given this bank a 4 star but recent events have forced me to drop it to a 1! I went in during this pandemic to transfer my pension from my union holders so i could apply for financial hardship as i lost my job due to Covid. After signing the papers and the advisor signing off on it saying it would sent out right away, i was told it would normally take 3-4 business days but because of the pandemic it could take up to 10! I was fine with that, i understand the pandemic affects us all! 15 days went by and i hadn't heard anything so i called the 1-800 number and they couldn't find any information on my application for financial hardship! So they booked me a phone appointment with the person that i signed the papers with. The next day when i talked to her she had to call the savings and retirement team. She called me back about 10 min later and said i missed a question on the application! So in 15 days, no one could call me to say i missed a question? In had to call them? You would think someone applying for financial hardship would be a bit more important! How many people look over this paper work before it gets approved? And no one caught this missed question until I called? Needless to say the bills I needed the money for went to collections and now i have to deal with creditors and my credit is ruined! Thanks Scotia!

I had a few issues with previous RESPs that were not completed properly, very frustrating process to get the errors removed and fixed. I met with Suzette Grey who was thorough and fixed everything. She is a good listener, and has renewed my confidence in the bank. She kept me informed throughout the various processes, and made sure all my questions were dealt with. I hope the bank realizes what a treasure they have in her.

This branch has terrible customer service especially the manager, She is so rude. I cleaned my account and I never go back there.

I went in because they rejected some paper work from another bank saying that the signatures didn't match. I got an appointment, proved my signature, but they rejected the paper work again. Total amateur hour at this branch. I will never bank with this company and I will make it my mission to save everyone from having to deal with them.

Very unhappy with the staff working there and phone system they have set up. I've Had two replacement cards sent there and both were sent back for no apparent reason with no update to me when the card was there for pick up. When visiting the staff was quick to bat me away telling me there would be an update in my email! Even though you had sent it back already! The phone system is set up just to send you to their HQ customer service which is more useful than the staff here unfortunately.
