I love this Branch!!!!! I have never been to another branch, that when the line starts to get long, even a bit. They come over and ask u how your day is going, as well as ask if u have to deal with cash, cause if not, u can go over to the customers service desk & they will help u rather then waiting in line. It just makes the line move faster & We appreciate it, well a least I do!! Thank u for thinking ahead :-D

I opened an account here with Rahul Khurana and he was very professional and helpful through the process. It's great that the waiting area has seating for customers rather than standing

I thought I’d let you know my experience with Scotia Bank recently. March 6, I took a bank draft into the local (Salmon Arm) branch to pay out an auto loan. I was told at that time it would take two to three business days to put that through. After some nervous wait times the loan appears to be paid as of today the 17th.. I really don’t understand in this day and age of online everything that this took so long. Isn’t there some way of speeding the process up for future customers? One of my concerns and worries was when I looked at Google reviews upon trying to connect with SB. The first one I saw stated that the person had delivered a bank draft and was told the bank doesn’t issue receipts. Then it disappeared for a time. Concerning to say the least. I was also told that I would not get a receipt but made the teller give me one for my records. I was happy I did after the delays in crediting my auto loan. At least I had proof of payment. Shouldn’t a receipt be issued automatically? Not good practice in my world. Another really annoying thing I experienced in the last eleven days is a horrible delay in your phone system. Today it took almost an hour to talk to a real person. The announcements are not relevant in my case and time consuming. In dealing with trying to get this issue resolved I have wasted many hours on hold waiting. Another issue I encountered is in trying to contact the local branch and getting bumped to the national call centre and waiting on hold. On one occasion I had the call centre person put me through to the local branch which connected me with voice mail so there again I had to wait for a call back from a real person. In my opinion Scotia Bank system is just broken and needs a MAJOR OVERHAUL! Thanks to P Smith and Y Kim for your excellent local service.

Very disappointed. I recently moved to Salmon Arm and went in the Scotiabank branch to open a new student account. After showing my identification, I was interogated about the "reasons" of my move and my employment. Being on a student grant I do not work at this time being a full time student. The employee Candy insisted and replied to me that it "cost money to live". I found that a very rude and demeaning thing to say to a new customer and I decided not to do business with this bank. Terrible experience and service. I don't know why they would even offer a student account in these circumstances. What a strange welcome to Salmon Arm.

Worst bank service I have ever experienced, yes even worse than RBC. Way too many buttons to push to only finally get through to voicemail. At least 20 minutes on hold, three times in a row Calls and emails not returned, and they are emailing me asking me to renew my mortgage with them In a wore ATROCIOUS. Go the the Salmon Arm Savings & Credit Union.

Absolute worst experience ever. So my account gets hacked...they immediately put all money in my account "on hold" which they first preceeded to tell me might take 7-10 business days. Ok fine. I don't hear from them after 10 days so i call them. They say to wait will take longer. One day later I find out my account gets hacked again....I call them just for them to tell me it will now take longer. Ok. I wait a month and still hear nothing...so I call. (Money is still on hold) and the gentlemen says the case is closed. But he can't answer my questions...where did this money come from? Where didnit go? How was it fraudulent??? Like wtff
