About Schmitt Organics
At our place, we understand that nutritious food is at the head of your family. Our goal is to give you the highest quality products, straight from our farm to you.
At our farm, we believe in 'chemical free' and live very closely to that in our everyday lives. We promote healthy food raised without the use of chemicals to ensure the health and safety of you and your family.
Our Angus beef is mostly grass finished. We also offer grain finished beef. The yearlings will go to pasture in the spring and come fall, they are fat and finished on grass and ready to be harvested. Sometimes we need to feed grain in the winter to help keep their energy levels up through the -40 celcius weather.
All of our grains and hay are grown on our 3000 acre Certified Organic family farm near Carrot River, SK. We are dedicated organic and believe in an old integrity and honesty system. What we grow is done with a deeply embedded sense of pride that how we are doing it is the most nutritious and least harmful to the environment and to those eating it.

Wait, what does that mean? It means that we raise or source certified organic yearlings. All animals through our program must be raised on a certified organic farm with certified organic feed.
