At Save-On-Foods, going the extra mile is nothing new. Actually, we’ve gone above and beyond in all areas of our business since we started, way back in 1915. Originally, we were called Overwaitea Food Group because of the founder’s practice of selling 18 ounces of tea for the price of 16, and the name “overweight tea” stuck. Fast forward over 100 years and that name has changed, but we’re still known for delivering extra value to our customers. Today our company is best known for its most prominent banner—Save-On-Foods—but also includes PriceSmart Foods, Urban Fare and Bulkley Valley Wholesale.

I love how much they support local schools and the community in general.
Their kitchen/deli/bakery are the best.
My grandkids love to come shopping here with me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st time here. Liked it, but I hate member pricing ...so my experience was hampered by inflated prices. I don't live near one it get to visit the store on rare occasions... I don't want a wallet full of cards. Or a stupid thing to add to my keychain

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really nice looking store and good products. All the staff seem very nice and helpful. The part I don't like is the pricing. They mark items way up then offer you a better price if you have their card. Incidentally their sale prices are the regular price at most other competitors.so it's just a way to charge more and gain personal information data.
