I write this review because as of late I've noticed a troubling trend with Save On Foods. What it boils down to is this, If you shop at Save On Foods always ALWAYS check your bill afterwards. This place overcharges me or I don't get the advertised price that was shown on the shelf. Literally just about ever time I shop here which used to be very often, the bill is incorrect by $10 or more. The last time I visited the King George location in Whalley I was overcharged by $57 !!! The last 2 times I visited other Save on locations. I did not receive the correct pricing on my items and was out over $10 each time. Another bad habit Save on Foods has is facing the incorrect product on sku's that have sold out because of a sale price. You can't just face another product in the space of a sold out product without putting some kind of sold out sticker over the sale price of the sold out item. As far as I'm aware this is an illegal business practice. Either way I do most of my shopping at Canadian Superstore now. Cheaper prices less mistakes with my money there.

D	Darian Parrish on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is brand new so it's very clean and modern inside, but as others have mentioned, this is the most expensive grocery store I've ever been in. They take prepackaged foods (things like pasta salad/potato salad) out of the regular containers, put them into their own much smaller plastic packaging, and then charge more than 3 times the price for the exact same food. Certain things from the deli like blocks of cheese cost nearly 10 times the price as Superstore. Even fresh fruits and vegetables are marked up. Selection also isn't great with most products only having one brand or one size available. I only stop here after work every once in a while to pick up a couple ingredients for dinner, but I always leave either feeling ripped off or without everything I wanted to get because I can't justify paying so much.
K	Kashan khan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very great spot for doing daily/weekly grocery. New items are available here since this is a fairly new store. Staff is very helpful as well. There is also underground parking that have Tesla Supercharger for Tesla EV's. Tesla users can charge and shop as well.
H	Hilary C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the time I walked in the door until the time I escaped out, I was screamed at by shrieking singers over the music system. Loud, LOUD. It's a grocery store people, not a rock concert. I just want to shop in peace. It was so abrasive and deafening at times I covered my ears in spots, so I wound up forgetting to purchase all I need. I shan't return. There is only one cart rack in the parking lot and because the cars sit so close together, you have to go all the way to the end of the lane and back. Smaller than a normal Save On. Miniscule flower shop. Between this store and the abomination at the King George hub, Save On Foods has really let North Surrey down. I may have to drive further to get to Safeway, but at least it's a better experience once there.

Friendly helpful staff always excellent quality items and great prices along with purchase points. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to register on their app for your extra "My Offers". Great selection, fresh produce, fresh bakery, Deli and fish, and meat specialties And everything else you'd expect at a Save on Foods. This New llocation also has an Eat in or Take out kitchen of ready-made options. Lots of Fresh flowers and small plants for gifts for you and your home. The Pharmacy Staff are Exceptional and Professional. Warms smiles and great service. Free parking outside, plus underground with an elevator. This new location is delightful. Thank you all for an excellent shopping experience. ❤️

Some of their sale prices are still higher than Walmart or Superstore regular prices. At least this location is fairly new so the store is clean and modern and the staff was super friendly and very helpful.
F	FilmBizDude on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brand new store! Beautiful interior but not a fan of Self Check Outs as I am not getting paid to do the work of a Save-On-Food employee. Self Check Outs are nothing more than a reflection of Corporate greed to reduce their operating costs. Not to mention there are no health care benefits paid to the machine! And while I am at it, DO NOT GIVE to their charities. All you are doing is paying into their Corporate Tax Deduction. Donate directly!
