About Saskatoon Wildlife Federation
Our trout pond is stocked annually and open to the public. A valid fishing license is required, and we promote catch & release, with a daily limit of one. Please use caution when ice-fishing in our aerated pond, and obey all posted rules.

β β β β β My first time out to this range. It is the end of winter so everything is still snow covered and frozen. After parking , I was met by a very angry biligerant elderly man who said he was the range officer. He said I was done for the day, was very unpleasant toward me in front of my young kids. He said I drove on the lawn and gave me a ticket . I will have to take his word for it, as it's the first time I've been there and I told him that. He continued his rant , got in his truck and sped off down the road in front of the burm. I am disappointed as a member being treated so poorly, and am certainly unimpressed with the uncordial manner in which the range officer handled this situation. As usually a very generous person, when it comes time to asking for support, donations, or volunteer work, please do not knock on my door.

β β β β β I enjoy coming here, kind of sucks now that they are a little ways out of the city, but the new range is way better than the old one. most times I am the only one out there which is nice. the only down side I find is some of the other people if you are sharing a range, they might be done shooting, and yell cease fire at you, cuz they want to go down the range and take a look. just relax and let everyone finish shooting their last rounds.
