Ervin Kormos
Ervin has been teaching & choreographing with Saskatoon Salsa since 2012. He teaches youth, adults, rec classes, leads performance teams & competes with the school’s competitive team. Ervin has been teaching salsa & bachata since 2002, and has taught salsa & bachata in Europe, the Caribbean & Canada. He has a passion for musicality, salsa rhythms, and helping students learn & grow both on and off the dance floor. Many of his previous students have gone on to professional dance careers & opened dance schools. Ervin’s love of dance is contagious & you can often find his enthusiasm translating into smiles & laughter in the studio. Ervin is continuously challenging himself and studying his craft. He travels regularly to attend, perform and compete at Salsa & Bachata Congresses around the world. He’s attended congresses in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Toronto, Calgary, Winnipeg, England, Bulgaria, Hungary & his home country of Romania.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have taken several classes at Saskatoon Salsa with both Ludovic and Kim. I always learned a lot, and the instructors were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Often the instructors would rotate through as a partner to help cement technique as well as to balance lead/follow numbers, if needed. My experience with weekend workshops through Saskatoon Salsa has also been excellent. A great place to learn new skills and meet people!

I have never danced before and literally knew nothing about the craft. I was partnered with Kim and from our very first meeting to our performance she was able to make me feel comfortable in my own skin and her teaching ability ensured that I was able to provide a quality performance. She is a true professional and I’m forever grateful for my experience.

Saskatoon Salsa is a great community to get into. I have even got to enjoy going on one of Kim’s dance trips to Cuba and can’t wait to go again this winter. Highly recommend this school!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this dance school! My son, husband and I are currently enrolled in dance lessons. It has been many years since we first started taking lessons with saskatoon salsa. The instructors are amazing. Kim is an exceptional person and is warm and welcoming to all who enter the studio.
My son loves his instructors. This school is great for beginners and experienced dancers.
Registering is easy either online or in person.
Looking forward to the dance trip to Cuba with this dance school.

Saskatoon Salsa students come from all age groups as well as many diverse backgrounds and occupations, and I am happy to have made many good friends through my classes at the studio.
While the instructors and staff are always ready and willing to help all of the school’s students, we would all do well to remember that what we gain from our dance experiences is also affected by and dependent on what effort we ourselves put in and what we offer back to the school!
