Avenue living is the worst to deal with , I have complied about my water nothing has changed I come off a afternoon shift there’s no hot water to shower with. I have been living here for past 2 years I have no heat. I pay 1100 for nothing. Will be going to rent board.

First day here and there’s a mountain of problems. The person who originally viewed the place with me disappeared today so they sent another person and I wasn’t able to get started until an hour after I originally was booked to start. He was busy doing all of us today as well as his own so I understand he was busy but he didn’t have time to do a walk through with me. Problems I have found in the first 6 hours since he left Broken window which is cracked and off tracks letting cold in, heater not functioning, pantry door also off tracks and appears to be too small for the tracks anyways making it impossible to open and close, screen to balcony is way to small for door way, if you have a pet they could walk between screen and door frame out onto the balcony When I called to report the window earlier today I left a report with an agent on the phone. Called later to report the heat and was told there was nothing on file about the window. Not super happy with how day one has gone. I know some of this is out of avenue livings control but getting fixes or answers has felt impossible. The place is clean and a nice space for a reasonable price and I am happy with the building itself. UPDATE It’s been a month and I still have heard NOTHING about fixing my window, I have called and texted everyone I get told to contact and I have still heard nothing. It is cold and the solution a few weeks ago was to pin my window. It was pinned open so it is always cold in here. There are other small issues regularly as well that just don’t get fixed in a reasonable time frame.

Muhammad was very great, he responds to customer needs swiftly and explains everything you need to know about the apartment. He is certainly a great guy to deal with. His approach will make you like the apartment even if you don’t like like. Awesome service. Aside that, the apartment itself is a no go area. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. They care less about customer satisfaction. They only care about their profit. So much noise from upstairs. We literally hear every pin that drops from the apartment above us, including bedroom activities. How can a tap opened upstairs make so much noise downstairs that I cannot not even have my class in peace. Yet, they are quick to increase rent without any upgrade. If you intend to use rent the central avenue apartments, you might get peace of mind if you go for the third flow, otherwise be prepared for noise and disturbance throughout your stay. I can't wait for my tenure to be over. Tweeaaa!

I am really shocked to see any review below 5 stars. AvenueLiving has been nothing but great to me and my family. I have been living with avenueliving for more than 2 years now and not once did I feel like I am being mistreated or forgotten by any means. Felt very welcomed as a resident and whenever I had a maintenance issue it was addressed within a very reasonable time. I feel bad for avenueliving for taking a lot of abuse and bad reviews from some residents that were not accepted by any other landlord! Avenue living accepted them and now they have to suffer all of the negative things they have to say. Kudos to avenueliving and your team! Your customer service is good experience centre staff is stellar and friendly. Always helped me find a solution! Special kudos to the ppl managing the staff answering the phones and dealing with some difficult calls

I’ve been renting with avenue living for about 3 years. My first year was actually quite nice, got a christmas gift card from the company. 2nd year they raised my rent if I was to renew my lease, I accepted as I didn’t want to be hassled to move and I enjoyed the area. 3rd year has been nothing but problems for me, Azam couldn’t communicate my issues and problems to the right people to get done, I get blamed and charged even though I feel like I do my part. I needed to get a copy of my lease agreement today only to have to deal with a terribly rude person named Kyle, he just wanted to berate and annoy me instead of actually helping me out after the hour of waiting I had to do. Terrible customer service from Kyle from the one time I had to deal with him. I cannot wait until I’ve found a new place so I don’t have to deal with this company anymore! Edit: Please anyone who is looking at this company and mainstreet equity need to find more options because both of these companies require you to baby sit who they hire if you want things to be done properly and by the book, if you take your focus away for a little bit of time you’ll be surprised how sloppy and lazy both companies run.

Worst apartment building and the customer service is even worse. Kyle and Azam are not good to deal with. This company does not care about their residents. No hot water, no power, sewage coming through your sink, flooding in the building, just to name a few.

Best community to rent with here in Saskatoon! The staff that looks after the building and management team is super friendly and they really do care about the residents and their concerns always quick when need to speak to somone. Best place to rent with period

Girlfriend lives in one of their confederation buildings and the building has a bug infestation. She reported it and they denied it, she then sent in pictures proving it and now it's been radio silence ever since. They seem to not care for their properties or their tenants. Truely immoral to let people live in bug infestation and then have the balls to deny it. Rental board will be involved eventually if they keep ignoring people's complaints about bugs and maintenance. You'll see them telling everyone with a bad review that they're sorry and to contact them but it's an automated message cause they clearly don't care unless it's a good review.
