★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Working Culture is Shocking and Poor. Staff at downtown is always busy. Working at Transit Civic Operational Center is relaxing. Family-Life Balance: Worst.
Tony Spehar is head of HR.He is boss of everyone including directors and union. He is one of the lucky people who is working at city sitting on relax chair. He is EXTREMELY tactful. Showing busy and actual working are two different things, keeping something extending shows a person is under too much workload. The way he meet, it feel awesum and the way he put log bw two piles is also awesum, so be aware of him. NEVER disclose anything to him, he is dead-professional, making a distance is best medicine. He is the king of his own chair.
Union is only for the name as mentioned earlier tony is king and queen of everything.
Customer service is to add complaints onto drivers file which can be used later on against any driver when ego issues occurs, other than this there is no use of complained provided by public.
Guaranteed 40 hours/ week, but on the other hand you will not get less than that as buses are going to run everyday so transit never say go to home or take off as there will be no passengers, but the job is secure once probation completes.
It looks like they provide benefits, but everything is from you pay even pension.Ultimately they get benefited from the money you invest for pension. Life is not 100 years for a driver and pension is not transferable to spouse or children, So no benefit pass on to family.
