BackThe life cycles for the materials recycled at SARCAN all have an interesting story! Aluminum has a closed-loop recycling process, which means that recycled cans turn back into new cans. The beverage you enjoy in a can today could be back on the shelf as a new can in as little as 60 days!
Plastics are turned into different kinds of recycled plastic products, such as park benches and plastic wood. Plastic flake gets used to create things like fleece jackets and automotive carpeting.
Clear glass gets melted down and turned into little tiny beads that get added into road paint to create reflectivity. On Saskatchewan highways, over five million pounds of recycled glass from SARCAN are put in the white and yellow lines on the road every year!
Coloured glass gets turned into fibre glass insulation. Cartons are turned into recycled paper products, and so much more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My visit was more sitting back. They did not talk much or start conversations like they should. Customer experience is number 1. Be inviting and ask how was your day. How was your weekend. There were 6 works. 1 was counting my bottles while 4 were watching her work and 1 was in the back working and loading bottles. I brought in about 5 bags with no one els inside. They should have called me over to another till to get it done much quicker. It was a bit slow but slow is not always a bad thing. The rest of the workers should have made an effort. No one was talking. It was like they did not like their job. As I do review allot of businesses with complete honesty I must say I would hire a diffrent set of staff. And as always I will forward this review to the company.

Covid precautions are excellent, all counters are wiped down after each use and social distancing rules are in place.
