About Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home
The Director of Care (DOC) is responsible for the direct, day-to-day supervision, direction, evaluation and control of all care provided by all care staff (nurses, CCAs, recreation workers) on a 24 hour basis within the home. Resident directed care, education, quality, safety, infection control, communication, and overseeing resident admissions and discharges are central to the role. The care aides, nurses, Resident Care Coordinators (Kyla, Gianni and Kristy), and Nurse Managers (Sussan and Dinah) all report to the DOC.
