★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I never knew about consumer proposals when I called sands and associates to talk about claiming brankrupcy. Growing up I never had the best role models when It came to finances. That being said I never really thought about my future or how important it is to save for the future, because as we know for the most part our futures are uncertain. I have learnt alot with just 2 financial counsel sessions and it is really going to change my life and my family's life. People I think have a bad outlook on brankrupcy and most probly dont know about consumer proposals because of the bad stigma around brankrupcy, people probly avoid it all together. I know now there is nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to being in debt. I only hope people will ask for help at the early stage of debt. I only really started to think about my future when I had a son but I wish I would have in my early 20's. We all make mistakes and learning from those mistakes are what makes us human, so dont feel ashamed and call these guys before it takes control of your life. Thank you sands and associates you have really made a knew life for myself and my family.

Our Advisor Andrew Smith clearly explained what options we had to help us deal with our financial situation. He then, upon our request, lead us through the process of filing a consumer proposal. Andrew was always quick to return our inquiries and helped to quell our fears. Our counselor Marlene Byrne was a gentle, respectful wealth of information and has helped us to see the possibility of rebuilding our financial future. She offered answers to all our questions and provided us so many resources.
Together, they have helped us move through one of the scariest situation of our lives to one of hope. Our stress levels have been reduced by so much and we can now build towards a better tomorrow with skill, confidence and a deep appreciation for this company and process. Thank you so much.
