★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a single Mom, I used to work 2-3 jobs at a time. Pulling long hours, I also have 3 autoimmune diseases. Five years ago my doctors all pulled me off of work. I was very sick, and now fighting for financial aid. My bills kept piling up, but the money keeps getting smaller, as my oldest son turned of age. I was struggling to pay bills. And sinking fast. A friend told me to look into MNP. I am so happy I listened to her!! Tarah Fawdrey met with me and gave me options. Made it very clear, and easy to understand. She came up with a consumer proposal, And it was accepted!! Yeah! Such a relief!
Then I had online budgeting counseling with Jennifer Belfry. She was great, totally understanding. Gave me great resources. And taught me to use the resources that are available, despite my pride!

I have always been treated with the utmost respect and not once did I feel like I had been judged or looked upon in any negative way. I was given guidance, support and hope. It can be overwhelming to go through any financial crisis but I felt like the understanding I received went above and beyond. Yes, the professionalism was there but the genuine interest and desire to really help me was always there as well. I am appreciative and grateful for all the help I received from the two wonderful ladies at MNP.

I just finished my first of two counselling meetings online, and I am feeling SO MUCH BETTER about my finances. I was so on the fence about starting this process, about what it would mean for my credit and my money overall and I was very stressed about if I could get through it or not. Jennifer was patient, kind, answered every single question I threw at her and then some, talked me through the process step by step multiple times always making sure I was comfortable about what was happening and how to move forward.
